DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JKS!!!!!!
I contracted with them in April of 2022 (almost two years ago) to install a new roof. I gave them a $23,500 Deposit, which represented 1/2 the cost to do the work. After lie upon lie they still have never started. A month ago I asked for my deposit back, which they agreed to, but JKS has yet to mail a check or return any of my calls. After many visits to their Cape Coral office, I have yet to find it open or occupied.

We paid them a sum of $5,756. JKS cashed the check on Oct. 21, 2022.

They ignored us for almost a year and then said we'd have a roof on the following dates:

On Dec 27 we asked for a refund and on Jan 9, and on Jan 19 we sent follow-up requests via text. These texts were acknowledged and we were told a refund was being sent.

The JKS website was then taken offline for several weeks in December 2023 and January 2024. My personal and work emails were blocked in January 2024 . We issued four written statements requesting a refund via the JKS website in January 2024 when the site was live again.

To date, they have not returned the deposit.

I paid a deposit for a new roof in 10/22 and another deposit in 8/23 as of 1/24 I still do not have a new roof. I keep getting excuses and lies. as of today they have asked for more money. I said no. do NOT use this company

As almost all reviews read, JKS Construction and Engineering is NOT a company you ever want to consider. They do shoddy work, years after they promise you your job, and then will not fix their shoddy work. Other customers and myself have been working together to make sure that this company receives what it deserves. If you can find a way to get to me and/or the others who have been scammed by JKS, please join with us!!

They did noting but lie to me, RJ, Jessica and there shady salesman, promised me they would replace my roof, 14 months later they still have never showed up, They took $21000.00 from me and I all I have received from them were lies about when they were going to show up, Last month I was told that they were sending me a refund check because they do not have a roofing licenses anymore. IT NEVER SHOWED UP

It's been 2 years now since they got paid in full (August 2021) to replace my roof, install a pool heater and install gutters. They showed up in January of 22 to removed my old tile roof, then didn't show up for 5 months to install the metal roof. During that time, I had leaks in my house coming from the ceiling because they didn't flash after taking down my old tile. As of this month, they still owe me for a pool heater that I had to purchase so I could use my pool with my family. Now they want me to sign a paper that says quote ""I agree that I will not individually or encourage friends or family in an communication on the internet or on any social media platform or in any communication with any person or entity make disparaging, critical or negative statements against JKS Construction & Engineering, Inc, or any of it's officers, managers or employees"", or they won't pay for the pool heater. Worst company I've ever done business with!

Worse experience with a contractor. Been dealing with for a year. They will inflate there invoices and you will have a balloon payment at the end. Their main guy ""Thomas Priami"" presents himself as the general contractor, but in fact he doesn't even have a roofers license. He is only ""eligible for exam"" per florida records. You will regret doing business with them
