We quickly got a proposal from Jimmy. But following that he was difficult to reach. I had to remind him to bring by shingle samples a couple times, same with gutter color samples. Communication is important, if I have to remind a contractor to bring me this or that, before a contract is signed, what can I expect after? It is important to do your homework when hiring a contractor. While I am sure Jimmy's crew would have done a good job, I did not feel comfortable and went with another roofing company from Morgan Hill.

Jimmy came out, we talked about what I needed done and he gave me suggestions. Super nice guy. He said he would send me an email with a quote. Couple days went by.... nothing.... A week went by.....nothing.... Sent a text to touch base, could have been busy and forgot, no big deal. And......nothing.... It's been almost 3 weeks. It's a simple job but dude, don't be a flake. They're not the only show in town. Disappointed

I called Jimmy today to slide a concrete tile back into its proper place. Fixed already! Turns out he had a job just a few miles from my house and stopped by afterward. While he was on the roof checking out the tile, he went ahead and slid it into place. No charge. (An hour has passed, and I'm still stunned.)

Jimmy and his crews were the consummate pros, doing all the pre-work, prep, and final install of our home's gutter, fascia, and roof repair. It took only 4 days, at the end of each day cleaned up the area, and made sure the roof was weatherproof, even though the tiles were temporarily removed. And they finished the project just in time to take on the weird May weather that included a major thunderstorm's down pour! Just the thing to test out the completed repairs. It was worth the wait - if a company is in that much demand and that busy - it shows the top notch quality it strives for all the projects they do - a testament to the great people working for Jimmy. You will get the best roofing company in the area!

I don't write many reviews, just look at my profile. But I am compelled to in this case, as Jimmy Shrull Roofing is the absolute best roofing company in the Bay Area! I do not say that lightly, but they have fixed multiple roof issues for me over the years (i.e. leaks, repairs, etc.) & I couldn't be happier with the results. Professional, responsive & affordable, my kind of company. I will continue to use their services in the future & recommend you do as well.

Discovered a small leak in my ceiling after all this rain. Even though this is peak season for roofers, Jimmy was quick to help me out with prompt response to my request for an inspection and estimate for repair. Very generous prices and thorough service plus explanation of what was causing my leak and steps needed for repair. Crew was on time and did a great job on repair and clean up after the job. Jimmy's a very personable and likable guy that makes you feel more like a friend than just a customer. I recommend him to everybody. Roof leaks are a stressful thing for homeowners but dealing with someone like Jimmy made this an enjoyable experience. Thanks Jimmy for everything!!
