We had a leak over the garage and Jim and Rebecca came to assess the work within an hour of calling them. We were due heavy rain the following afternoon so they had a crew come and complete the repairs early the following morning. Great service! Highly recommend.

Jim, Rebecca and their crew did an amazing job removing and replacing a metal barreled roof that was installed in the late 1980s on my in-laws property in West San Jose that had become hugely problematic as it allowed rats to enter the attic home from all sides. The removal of the roof was a massive project as the metal roof shingles were extremely heavy and it had been installed on top of the original 1960s wood shingled roof which was removed as well. Jim crew installed new radiant sheathing over the entire 3K sq ft structure as well as replacing the entire gutter system on a hip & gable roof. We chose the Presidential TL composite shingled roof and it looks amazing. Jim and his crew took approx 6 working days from beginning to end. Communication with Rebecca, his assistant, during the entire project was excellent. We were out of town at the time and they kept me up to date with texts, picture, videos and phone calls when needed. It was a seamless process. We have worked with a handful of roofers over the years between our properties and my in-laws and Jim Hagemand roofing was awesome. The price was super competitive, the process was seamless and the end product was to our satisfaction!

From the first meeting, Jim Hageman and his assistant Rebecca were easy to get to know and trust. His bid was the best of the four I requested. His crews were careful and considerate, cleaning up daily. Jim was attentive to the specific fixes needed for my particular roof and made sure that the crew foreman resolved each problem. Within one week, we had a new roof that looks good and replaces the previous flammable shake roof with composite shingles. New venting will solve some of the hot attic problems our old roof had.

We are glad we chose Hageman Roofing and would recommend them.

The Hageman group did a great job for my little 70 year old house. The crew: Rico, Gustavo and Benjamin did a great job with only one setback, but made up for it the next day.
The management: Jim and Rebecca very personal and hands on. When a question of specifications came up and they didn't have an answer, Rebecca got us on a conference call with the manufacturer to settle the matter.
Like any old house we ran into problems when the roof came off. The crew consulted me in an impartial manner. It was my choice to do the work or not. No pressure.
The tear off crew was fast and cleaned up properly. The gutters crew took 4 hours to complete. Some of my eaves didn't line up (cosmetic) with the gutters (my decision not to centerline and trim) but suggested a fix I can do myself.
Anytime a contractor is at your house, you cannot be absent . As steward of your property , You must be focused on the work being done and uphold the finished result you envision. I was on site every day. Inspecting and there for questions and concerns. I have already suggested Jim to my niece who needs her roof done.

Oh did I mention that The roof was done on time and came in just under budget?

Jim came to do an assessment, just for my ease-of-mind for a 20 yr roof.
He found a couple of broken shakes, said we need to get someone to caulk around fireplace, paint a gutter, and all ok for at least another 10 yrs. He did not try to sell me on any other unneeded repairs, which he easily could have done, since at 91, I""m not climbing
onto the roof. I appreciated his honesty. It would be so easy for an unscrupulous person to take advantage of a Senior. Thank you Jim, you have my vote.

Hands down one of the best experiences if not best experience I had working with any services required for home building/repair. I'd like to mention that I have had my house completely remodeled as well as have had an addition added, and Jim and Rebecca were awesome!

I reached out to Jim and Rebecca through Yelp's App, and received a response immediately. I spoke to Rebecca on the phone and let her know vaguely what I needed. I don't know if it is luck, but I had Jim and Rebecca at my driveway looking at my roof within 45 minutes.

Jim went up onto my roof told me what he saw, and I let him know that I will be having a roof inspector go up this week, and he pointed things out and did a very thorough job assessing the needs of my roof.

He quoted me on the spot pricing and again maybe I was lucky, his team was at my house bright and early the very next morning!! His team was awesome. I worked with Jose who was the lead it seems of the team and he let me know what type of material and colors they had for my roof's cricket and what it does. I heard from Jim as well that Jose had mentioned additional items that Jim may have not seen that Jose saw that required attention! To me, that has always been my headache is meeting with the owner or partner of a business where I know they want to take care of everything with pride and just be proud of the work, but that doesn't normally carry over to their team who doesn't have that same care. This was not the case. Jose and his team went above and beyond and I could tell they were very meticulous on everything they were doing and honestly the finished product was almost artistic. They put down the proper material for my roof's cricket, painted my vent hoods, ensured my skylights were sealed correctly on the roof etc. These are things I didn't even know was a thing.

Lastly, upon completion Jim let me know that he will stand by his work if anyone comes back saying something is wrong with the roof that he would be more than happy to come and speak to that person to inform them that's incorrect. Great Owners and awesome team equals a very well satisfied customer.

Our roof adjacent to the garage started to leak today around 1.15 pm bcoz of the heavy rains, Called Jim around 2.30 Pm after calling like 10 roofing companies.
He is so prompt , he came in around 3.30 fixed the flashing and left . I really recommend Jim for all roofing related stuff. He is awesome and a very pleasant person

I contacted Jim after adding a few ""Yelp roofers"" to a list of a couple other roofers who were recommended to me. In total, I ended up getting 5 or 6 bids on my new roof job on my Los Gatos home. All of the roofers I contacted were professional, knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. In Jim's case, he met me the same day he returned my email and I got his bid that same day. He was also available to start the next week. As I recall, the other roofers who gave me a bid were booked 2-6 weeks out. While I did not need the job started right away, that is what I ended up doing.

Jim's price was also the lowest of all the bids. I won't say by how much, but let's just say it was enough to make a notable difference, and it also made me a little bit cautious. But it looks like I made the right choice!

After I selected Jim to do the job, he really came through on a few ""extras"" when it comes to service:

Jim followed me out to a couple of houses several miles away to tell me which roof style, brand, and color those were (I liked the color and style but needed Jim to tell me what it was).

My roof had a small amount of dry rot and termite damage. The added cost for that work was not much and it was done without delaying the job.

I needed to replace 3 skylights. Jim got great prices and coordinated everything for me.

The selection of gutters/downspouts Jim gave me did not have a color that matched my house color very well. I showed him another color from another brand given to me by another roofer, and Jim was able to get that color/brand for no extra cost.

I had tree trimmers trimming trees and making a huge mess at the same time the roof work was getting done. Somehow, they all got along and coordinated their work without a problem.

I put the entire job on my credit card, earning some good miles in the process.

And last but not least, Jim's crew and his assistant Rebecca were very friendly. I stopped by the house several times to take a look at the work and shoot a few pics, and the crew would always say hi and ask me how I liked the work so far.

Assuming it doesn't leak like a sieve when it starts raining, I would highly recommend Jim Hageman Roofing!
