I contacted JT Harris for an estimate on a full roof replacement, they provided me one very quickly, and responded promptly when I had questions. I was told they would schedule the work as soon as possible, but it might be a few months due to the high demand. Within 6 weeks I was given a date for the work to begin - At least 2 months before I expected. The workers were very careful and did a professional job, the roof looks GREAT. Chris, was good about communicating and following up on all the questions I had. I would recommend them to all friends and family.

I contacted JT Harris in 2014 for an estimate regarding re-coating my roof top decks and also for garage floor coating. At that time they returned my call after a few days and said they would call in a week to schedule an appointment. They never called back. I hired someone else to re-coat my decks.
Today, 10/21/15, I called them regarding estimates for garage floor coating and roof repair. The employee Mike indicated that the earliest they could come out would be the end of December. It must be nice to be that busy and not need customers.

I asked JTH to quote resurfacing and sealing my three decks. Their quote was clearly the most comprehensive and reasonable for the work to be done. I contracted with them for the work and they delivered on time, to specs, and with courteous and capable workmanship. All my concerns were politely and quickly resolved.

No more words are necessary: real quality workmanship, reasonable pricing, and nice, capable workers. I am amazed to find a contractor like this in SoCal. You should not be disappointed if you go with them.

We used the services of JT Harris recently to fix a small leak and an overall roof tune up in our place in Thousand Oaks . They executed the requested services , but also liked the way they delivered: e.g.call back quite fast when I first called, showed up as agreed to see the leak, good manners, sent the quotation by email, promptly anwered my questions in regards to that.. overall they were very professional in both the ""what"" was delivered and ""how it was delivered"". I would call them again.

Very easy process for me. Chris came when he said he would to do the estimate for roof repair on about 1/4th of the tile roof. They are licensed and insured and gave me proof of both. The estimate was in line with others received but I felt more comfortable with Chris. The job was not needed on a rush basis, but was scheduled within a week of me calling. Chris and the crew showed up on time, kept the work site cleaned up and finished the job in a day and a half. We're having a bunch of renovations done and dealing with J.T. Harris has been a breeze.

Bottom line: could not be happier. Quality job. Highly professional, Very fair price. Now more details of why we're pleased to recommend. We just turned our home into a rental. Because of rain, the new roof was going to be put on 5 days after the new tenants moved in. It was seamless ... no disturbance ... and the house and grounds were left spotless. Every detail was attended to immediately. Communication was constant (especially valuable as we were no longer living in the house). Their cost was just a little more than folks without bonding or who weren't completely clear about how they'd handle permits. I too am really glad we went with them. Oh, the roof looks GREAT too ... my neighbors have all commented.
