I'd like to say a few words for this company. The owner arrived, and gave me a rough estimate after going around the house and up on the roof. I was pleasantly surprised by his bid. He followed up a few days later with a quote in my email. I called him and agreed. I don't recall any charges until installation. The team that removed the roof was so neat and thoughtful. I was resigned to the fact they would take out my flowers but everything stayed in tact. The preparation team was already there, so right behind the removal team they prepared the roof. At the end of a few days (3-4?) I had a new roof! Within a day of having the roof, it rained. I'm super duper happy with JH Roofing and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to you.

Joe ECHAVES and his crew are top notch! I interviewed 5 roofers total and I went with JH roofing due to a neighbor who referred Joe to me.
I never thought in a million years I would be driving around looking at different roofs due to color, texture, brand name, style like presidential, etc, etc. It's like buying a car, and it's complicated and expensive. It's amazing how a good roof can either make or break your home's curb appeal. Originally, I wanted presidential.. but with our type of roof pitch, it wouldn't look right. One roof stood out in our hood and I contacted the home owner and I asked him who did his roof. We had some floor plan & roof pitch. I wanted ultra charcoal in the beginning but they discontinued it, and with the COVID pandemic all materials (inflation) raised in cost. We went with charcoal Now Lifetime GAF Timberline asphalt shingles. The roof was done in 4 days. Crew showed up on time every morning and started at 7 am on the dot. We had one rain day and the crew came over in minutes and put on an extra layer of tarp over the home for water protection. We are very happy with the finished project. Our home looks brand new and so happy with how it turned out. Joe is very professional, busy and not pushy. He has work lined up for months so you know he's good. Lastly, if I could recommend anything to anyone getting a new roof. Make sure you talk to them about installing valley's. Good roofers will do that. The other ones will just rush installing it like a flip home. Makes a difference! If I could give JH roofing 10 stars I would! Thank you JH roofing, we love our new roof !

This is going to sound weird, but I am leaving a review for Joe / JH Roofing at the end of 2021, even though they did our roof at the end of 2016!

We had a slight leak in our roof, and somehow I got connected with Joe. He fixed the leak immediately, but I knew that our 60 year old place that we had been in for 10 years was sending us a message -- it was roof time. Joe gave us a rough estimate, and we decided (with ZERO pressure from him) that we ought to just get it done.

A few things I remember, even after 5 years:

1) Joe did EVERYTHING he said he would do. Showed up when he said he would, did fixes to our eaves as he said, even the timing of the job was exactly what he said it would be (as was the cost -- his quote was 100% dead on). This sounds simple but is a RARE thing.

2) We were talking about doing solar, but hadn't done it. Joe recommended a couple of things (certain vent sizes/positioning, where the panels would run, how to make sure the solar guy didn't screw up the roof). I learned a ton, and when we ultimately did solar a year later I felt totally prepared. The vents WERE correct, and I knew how to make sure they didn't screw up my roof. (Actually Joe had offered to come out and check it after we did any install -- but I never called him for that... it was enough that he taught me how to look for the problems).

I'm looking out at my roof in the pouring rain right now, 5 years later, and it looks as good as the day he finished it. I'm writing this now because Joe still to this day stands out as the kind of professional you want to support. Would Recommend!

I had mold coming from the 2nd floor ceiling to the mostly unused storage/bonus room upstairs, along with drip marks on dusty furniture below. I called multiple roofers to come out, but of the 9 people (!) I called, only Joe and one other correctly diagnosed it (it was due to condensation, not a leak, proven over time). Others who came out had no idea what was causing it, saying simply that putting on a new roof would fix it (which it wouldn't, unless a vent ridge or similar was also installed).

Joe diagnosed it correctly, with absolutely no pressure, and talked about some of the various things he could do.

Joe never once tried to push a new roof, saying that other than a vent ridge for air circulation upstairs, while the roof was old, it could still last a few more years. However, because the roof was 25-30 years old and would likely need to be replaced in a few years anyway, I decided to just go ahead and have a new roof put on.

Because a new roof is a major purchase (like a car!) I wound up getting quotes from a LOT of places (9 quotes). In the end, Joe was, by far, the one to go with. Those who were super cheap I wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole (one insisted I had 2 layers of roofing when it's only 1, another came the wrong day and didn't seem to know up from down, etc). Some places were also much more expensive, and, while trying to not ""sound"" pushy, were actually quite pushy. And many of those who came out -- while friendly -- were only low-level employees, measuring and taking pictures to show the ""boss"" back at the office, who couldn't be bothered to come out.

Joe came out himself for the quote -- along with the two people he works with (rather than other places, who often just hire whoever is available). He answered questions every step of the way, never once pushed or tried to upsell, took care of everything, and very much went above and beyond. Most importantly, he knows his stuff, and his work is excellent, at very reasonable prices.

Give Joe at JH Roofing a call -- you won't be disappointed.

We are so happy that we went with Joe and his team. Our total roof replacement is still ongoing, but I wanted to get started. This far, Joe has been on time, detail oriented, friendly, and fair. I will write more when the job is complete, but so far we are very pleased.

The job is done! Joe and his crew, were absolutely fantastic. I would give them more than five stars if I could. We have a regular pealed roof in the front and a flat roof above the second story. Joe can handle both. They began on Monday and finished by Friday. The roof looks beautiful. Our neighbors have complemented the new look. They also clean up after and leave everything looking nice. My husband and I highly recommend Joe for all your roofing needs. Do not hesitate to give him a call.
