Trying to give an honest review but I wouldn't call them for anything again. I needed the flashing around my chimney replaced and the experience was pretty bad. First off I received an ESTIMATE of what could be needed (which was very high for replacing flashing). I got the estimate without any explanation of why they thought those things needed to be done or what they found. Sorry but if you're going to charge me over 2k, I want to know what's going on. I was in the middle of moving across the country when the work needed to be done so I wasn't able to be there. I told them this but it seems as though they took advantage of the fact that I couldn't be there in person because after they came out to do the job, they charged me the full estimate and then didn't even tell me what work they did. At this point, I couldn't tell you if they did the work or not. I can't give you any pictures or details because I have no way of verifying anything. I went with this company because of the reviews I've read, not my case this time unfortunately. Guess my job didn't make enough for them to treat me like they treat everyone else or maybe it's because I'm not local. I wish I would have had the time to get more estimates and be able to go with another company but felt as though since my time was limited I had no other choice.

It could not have been a better experience. The office staff were very professional and were outstanding in meeting my needs and schedule. The workers were prompt, efficient, professional, and very neat. They finished the job in one day, and the new roof is beautiful. I also love the 50 year transferable warranty.

No services provided - Could not get passed scheduling an appointment.

I called to get a quote and scheduled an appointment for the following day. Got a call in the morning stating that need to reschedule, no problem at all. Scheduled for Friday at X time, got a call back from the office stating we had to reschedule for another time on Friday, no problem. I was willing to work with them.

The problem started when I got a call today (Thursday) stating they wanted to reschedule for Monday. The young lady was very nice and I told her next week did not work for me. At that point, I politely stated that I was disappointed with the situation and I am not interested in retaining their services in the future. Basically, 3 strikes and you're out...

I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby personally a few days ago. Today, his Son and another co-worker came out and went above and beyond to repair a leaking vent. Well, they not only fixed the one vent they sealed the other three, swept the entire roof and added a water diverter to prevent water going into the garage. They were quick, polite and very professional! We may get another year out of this roof, they showed us areas to watch until then. There was no hard selling just really great information. I'm new to the area from Colorado and will indeed use JCB Roofing for our new roof and also talk to them about our future patio addition. I look forward to a long relationship with this Company!

Have adjusted a previous review due to the crew that came out. They were excellent and nice guys who were very helpful. They fixed the storm damage in less than 10 mins and happened to notice damage to my neighbor. They offered to help fix their roof as well with that owners approval. They were swift and professional. The company has a lot on their plate, but once they get there, they are quick and efficient.

I have heard that their roofing jobs are of a very high quality. This review is in no way a reflection of their workmanship. (This is out of the Savannah office).
This is about the character of one of the co-owners. There was an incident where he slammed into the back of my car at my workplace while it was parked. It was a hit and run, and the only reason I know what happened was because there was an eye witness and surveillance video.
When we spoke with him on the phone he was very belligerent and refused to give his insurance information.
Once the police got the information and I filed with his insurance, he denied the incident and his insurance company had to investigate to prove that he did indeed hit my car.
A good job is great, but lack of character speaks much louder.

I won't trust anyone else on the roof of my house. This company did great work on a very complicated job that included a lot of structural work, exposed rafter tail and visible roof deck replacement on a Historic Craftsman home. I had at least 8 other roofers out, and most didn't even return my calls or submit a bid; they didn't want to touch the job. JCB was not daunted by the project, and TJ really knows his stuff when it comes to roofing and structure. JCB has great carpenters on hand and their roofing crew is very skilled and careful about their work. For the work done, the pricing was very fair. I am NOT an easy person to work for, and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants quality work done well.

After much research an obtaining bids from 3 companies, we chose JCB. All of the bids were close, but chose JCB because they replaced our son's roof a few years ago, and because they are Veteran owned. Wow, they did an outstanding job and finished in 1.5 days. They kept the area picked up during the process, then went back with a magnet rod to be sure there were no nails left behind. A week later, it rained 2.5 inches, and there were no leaks. The true test was after the 30-40 mile an hour winds of Hurricane/tropical storm Michael, earlier this week. The roof looks great. There was probably another 3-5 years of life remaining on the original roof, but why wait? The new roof sure spruced up the look of the whole house. Thank you JCB

JCB replaced my roof. It leaked at the first rain.

They came and put some roof caul on it. Did not fix it correctly. Poor attitude ... ""well things happen"".

There are a lot of better companies to deal with.

This roofer put on my mother's roof 5 years and two months prior to Hurricane Mathew. I am giving two stars not for workmanship but for attitude and and what I consider a poorly run office. I called and let them know my mother had a tree brush the house and the tree had been removed. She had a small amount of shingle damage that needs to be accessed. Also, there were a couple of nail pops. I was told on phone they only guarantee their work for 5 years. I told them I needed someone to call me back and I needed them to send someone out and access the damage so it could get fixed. You think and existing customer who also refereed two other people to them that also had new roofs put on 5 years ago would have gotten a least one return phone call. I called three times and asked for someone to call me back. Needless to say, I found another roofer who I have given 5 stars, who came out to the house took photos of the damage, texted the photos to me, called me when he was there and told me how much it would cost to fix. He has already been out and fixed the roof. I used him and gave him 5 stars. Beware if you use these people and have a problem in the future. Very disappointed!
