Founded in 1936 by my grandfather in Fort Worth, Texas, our roofing company has deep family roots. My father, Billy Joe Corbin Sr., ran the business from the late 1950s until the mid-1990s, building a reputation that is unmatched. Currently, we operate in three key Texas cities: Fort Worth, Austin, and Galveston.
My father has been roofing since the late 1950s, and I began working with him during my teenage years, inheriting decades of experience and knowledge. Today, our specialty is metal roofing, yet I have comprehensive knowledge across all areas of roofing. I owe my thorough understanding of the roofing business to my father.

I wish I could give this company a higher rating but because of their poor corporate attitude toward customers, they will be glad for even 2 stars.
JC Roofing replaced my roof this past summer. The crew did an excellent job, as far as I can tell. But when the boss came to collect the second half of my payment, I just happened to discover that there was an entire piece of siding missing from my house - located just between the roof line and front porch overhang. Apparently, the roofers weren't even going to tell me about it! When the boss came for my check, I pointed it out. His first excuse was that it was a paint-related issue - which they are not responsible for fixing. When I dismissed that, he then made the excuse that the crew must've removed whatever material was there so that they could finish the roof. I argued that, if that was the case, then the crew should have left that material/property there instead of discard it!
What the roofers left behind is a completely exposed part of my house because they removed and discarded a piece of siding. My house now looks horrible to anyone who notices it from outside. I should have withheld the payment until they fixed it, but I naively trusted the boss when he promised that he'd have someone come out and look at it. So, I made the final payment. Of course, I never heard back from them. Now, I am left with this missing siding that exposes my house. I am unable to add a replacement siding or paint over what's exposed because I don't have a tall enough ladder. I don't want to have to pay $400 for a ladder just for this! I called them back, asking if they would at least loan me a ladder so that I can fix it myself. They agreed, promising to come the next day. They never showed up and didn't even bother calling me to tell me not to wait around! When I called and asked why they never showed up, they said they could not lend their ladder because their insurance policy forbids it.
This is inexcusable poor corporate behavior - whatever happened to customer service? They still argue that this was a ""paint-related issue"" which in customer contracts it clearly states is not their responsibility. However, this was NOT a paint issue - this was the removal and disposable of personal property. They should've never discarded property off my house in the first place; then, hid it from me; then ultimately refused to help repair what they did. I paid nearly $10,000 for the roof - the least they could have done is repair their own damages or at least helped me be able to repair what they've done. I still don't know when I will ever get around to repairing the damage they left behind.
My advice to other customers: You can hire this company for doing the bare minimum - building a decent roof. But do not expect them to go beyond that bare minimum - not even when it includes just a basic fix for a mistake they made themselves.

Great experience working with Mike at JC Roofing. He was informative and helpful in the selection process. The start date was delayed a day but the work was promptly started the next day. The crew cleaned up after themselves and communicated with us through the one day job. The owner stopped by several times to inspect the process.
