I wouldn't even give John a star but I couldn't post the review without it. Horrible, horrible person to deal with. Seemed nice in the beginning, but the tides turned quickly with him. He has a major personality disorder and anger management problems.(his employee Tyler went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate him for everything!! He definitely deserves a raise for dealing with such a dick like John) John, if you run a business, you have to have good communication skills, and cuthe. (Which you do not have either) John/crew cussed in front of myself and 4 year old sons using words like fucking pussy and fucking and much more during the job. I'm not one to get mad about regular profanity but whilst my 4 year olds were in TK virtual school at the kitchen table..really? The crew had the skylight off and could very loudly hear every word they were saying and my children were a few feet away. Said he's ""not gonna fucking deal with her shit"" towards me to Tyler in regards to cleaning up their mess they left in my house and garage. Told his worker to stay and cleanup and left. The cleaning ""crew"" that he said he was going to have come in was 1 girl, who didn't even have stuff to clean with. Ended up using my ladder, broom and mop and did not even clean very well. The roofing debris that fell through the roof all over everything, my sons toyboxes, toys ..everything. In my garage, black stuff everywhere. Every nook and cranny and expects me to clean it up. Now I have to hire a separate cleaning company to come in and thoroughly clean. The day before my sons birthday party. And I am disabled and can't do it myself. This guy is completely unprofessional and rude. He brought me to tears. No one should ever have to go through this kind of treatment and unprofessional harassment. When his worker Tyler asked what they were doing, John respond with "" WELL WE HAVE TO SCRUB HER WHOLE FUCKING HOUSE NOW"" in my response to being unhappy with the mess that was left. I tried to show him the mess from the skylights in my kitchen all over my stove and floor and the mess the cleaning gal katie did not clean but he got even angrier. Then the mess in the garage that they used my painters plastic for that i needed for painting, got used to cover all of our computer equipment after mess had fallen in all of it on day 2 i think it was for the garage mess. Our keyboard, printer everything. Hope his company suffers after what he did to my house, myself and my family.

We noticed a leak during heavy rains and called several roofers. Most never called back and never provided a quote. John came out right away, provided a very reasonable quote and tarped the area to prevent any further damage until he could fix the leak. He finished the job quickly, kept us updated and even fixed faulty work that a termite company had done for no extra cost. Such a respectable guy and no hassle.

Fast Service, Quality Work at a VERY reasonable price!

We found out the fumigation company broke multiple roof tiles when they removed the tarps. To compound the situation, we were out of town and it was raining cats and dogs. John Chase responded to our home within minutes with Jeff Padgett of SERVPRO to check the roof status. Within the hour I was called back with the good news that the roof was holding. John came back out after the rain, provided a very reasonable estimate that was significantly lower than we had anticipated. He scheduled the work, arrived on time and made the repairs. Our roof tiles are vintage, and John went the extra mile to find tiles that matched perfectly.

I hired John Chase from JBC Roofing to fix some major leaks at my mother in law's roof. We were hoping she didn't need a new roof and he agreed. John Chase negotiated a fair price and did an excellent job using the required materials i.e. Home Owners Association approved and California State Fire Marshal. He immediately provided his insurance certificate and promptly acquired the needed permits with proper inspections. Very personable to work with and great work ethics. Awesome cleanup during and upon completion. We have our materials and workmanship guarantees in hand.

I had many consultations for my new roof , but JBC roofing was the easiest. The owner John is very straight forward and will give you the info you need and not try and upsell you on everything you don't. A roof can be a major expense so needs to handled with care . John and his workers were very prompt and attentive to detail. I was kept in the loop every step of the way and was able to pick out all the cosmetic features which I also appreciated. The weather at this time was awful and kept raining , making it hard for John to come out and start the job. I had leaks in the meantime and even though John hadn't even started my job yet ,went out of his way to temporarily patch my roof In the mean time so my family would not get rained on. He does what he says, and says what he does ,and does his job in an efficient and timely manor. It took about a week but my roof is so beautiful , leak free and is a huge weight off my shoulders. I knew I was going to hire John when he said "" my goal is to do your roof quickly and right the first time so it is good for years to come, and I don't have to come back out."" He also included a three year labor warranty as a sign of good faith. Roofs can be costly but sometimes you get what you pay for. I am so grateful I found this company and would recommend them to anyone I knew ready and willing to make this investment.
