Janney Roofing did a great job with a complete reroofing of my house -- which has multiple unusual shapes as well as extremely complex and difficult roof angles due to a large oblong addition after the initial 1951 construction as well as several old skylights that needed to be replaced. Indeed, I was especially impressed with and appreciative of how they took extra care to ensure that the replacement skylights were aligned precisely both inside and outside. Their communications were prompt and professional throughout the process and their cleanup after the roof was complete was thorough. They also corrected a number of shoddy amateur roof repairs and improper flashing that the previous owner I bought the house from had done himself. Finally, their warranty terms/length and quality of materials were significantly superior to those offered by several competing quotes I got. I can recommend Janney Roofing as a good value and excellent quality roofing contractor without hesitation.

From start to finish they were very professional. They kept in touch throughout the whole process. They gave us pictures of our problem areas, repeatedly asked if we had questions or concerns, and completed it on time. We replaced our shingles and gutters and everything looks amazing. Janney Roofing recently completed our new roof. From start to finish, this company knocked it out of the park. A couple weeks prior to our start date, their coordinator emailed me with details, what to expect and any information pertaining to our job. As the day got closer, she emailed again and called to confirm. When the crew arrived the project manager came to our door to introduce himself and a business card should we have any questions. The crew was courteous, fast, cleaned up well. And as a follow up, they sent us a thank you card in the mail. Look no further if you're in the market for a new roof. Janney Roofing is definitely the company to use!

I highly recommend Janney Roofing. We met with several roofing companies and all things being equal, as far as we knew, we went with the company that was recommended to us by multiple friends and handled our inquiries most professionally. So glad we did. Ryan made the pricing and contracting portion super easy. The hardest part was picking out our designer shingles. We did not look forward to the whole process but Annette sent us multiple detailed emails explaining everything and letting us know what to expect and when. Our onsite coordinator made sure all the work associated with getting a new roof and chimney went as scheduled from delivery of the dumpster to clean up and final inspection. Meanwhile Ryan kept on top of our project and helped us get what we needed for our homeowners insurance company which much to our surprise paid for the entire roof, minus our deduction. They fixed all the soffits and did a really excellent job. The roof and chimney are beautiful.

My insurance company requested to have the roof replaced for them to review my policy. I got quotes and even though Janney was not the cheapest.
I asked sales rep was dealing with to compare and justify the reason for their quote being higher, even though his answer was not very technical but mostly personal and I quote his text message and I quote ""In addition to that there's gotta be something wrong with that bid/company. For their bid to be that much cheaper there's something wrong. I guarantee you will have a terrible experience if you go with them. Do you want Ritz Carlton experience or roach invested motel experience?."" Even after that I decided to move forward with Janney's even though I had another quote that was $700 lower. They had good reviews and a friend that has not used their service but quoted with them before said to go with them as they had a good experience with the sales person.
The moment I agreed to move forward with them, I wire transfer them a down payment of 25% in November. The service date was pushed 2 times until they finally came and got the service done in December. I was told they needed to replace old plywood for an extra cost which I happily approved via text message to their office. I paid 50% of the service upon start.
Once the job was complete Janney's inspector came by. I pointed that there was dip in the middle of the roof. Janney's inspector explained it to me after everything was done. I was not given a option to choose to add an extra layer of whatever it is that was there before to make sure the roof looked even. Janney's inspector just told me that he inspected the roof and everything was fine even though it's no longer even in the middle. Also there were a few black spots I pointed to Janney's inspector and he said that it was because they did not put the gravels in those places. Janney's inspector also said that it was not problem.

I sent out the last check of 25% + extras to Janney and my account shows as the check has been cashed as of January 14th. However, I have yet to receive the final documentation showing that you finished your job.
My insurance will expire in few days and I have not received anything from Janney, nor has the City of Orlando Permit Department as stated by my insurance agent ""We've submitted the paperwork that Security First asked for however they are wanting a final permit. I've left two messages with the city of Orlando permit department and have not had any return phone call. The final permit is not posted to the Orange County property appraiser website yet. I've been checking it every day""

Unprofessional & unresponsive. Once they do the work, and have been paid, it's hard to get them to care about your concerns. My roof began to leak and it took multiple follow ups with no ETA on when it could be resolved. Now imagine having a leaking roof, living in Florida where it rains constantly and being told ""I don't know when we can have someone come out and take a look."" Multiple times I was promised the issue would be fixed, and someone would follow-up with me but none of that was true. It's been weeks. I wouldn't recommend using this company.. avoid the headache.

Let me start by saying ultimately we chose another company to complete our project. I was looking to add this as a tip, but couldn't find it. We had one company quote us that was unprofessional & rude when we told them we chose another company. I just wanted to give Janney Roofing a shout out. Our rep was very professional & made every attempt to win our business. He maintained respect even after telling him we would still have to hire another roofer. I will definitely recommend Janney Roofing.

We recently had Janney Roofing replace our old roof. Derrick Rodriguez was absolutely awesome to work with. He came out to asses the situation, made a return visit on a weekend to speak with my husband and then called and followed up every step of the way. The entire team was also very professional. From the office staff to the installers. Very courteous attitudes and didn't mind my thousand inquiries. As for the roof itself, it came out Gorgeous! A complete 180 from the old one. They installed new streamlined sky lights that came out flawless. The price was a fair price and there was absolutely no hidden fees. We knew exactly what to expect. We can't thank Janney Roofing enough and will recommend them to anyone.
