I have experienced nothing but problems with this company. After opportunities to correct (alleged-according to law) faults and unsealed areas of the flat roof, I still have major problems with open gaps, bubbles, unsealed areas, and leaks into the house. My dining room ceiling has a large hole from the leaks, with mold affecting my health. I have numerous pictures of problems with the roof, and attempted to upload a few to this site, but they did not upload.
The company knows I am taking them to court, and according the the Process Server, will not answer the door when they appear to be home.

What a great experience we had with Kenny and his crew! Had other bids thru other companies, not like we didn't shop around. They were on time,stayed on schedule and left everything clean. Kenny was referred to us by some close friends who really complimented how well he finished jobs and the speed so we got an estimate and had him do the work. Kennys guys came and roofed our house in 3 days and had everything cleaned up and did an amazing job. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new roof in acton or Agua dulce.

We had a roof leak over our kitchen. As I starting looking for contractors the one was booked up through March 2017. The second one gave me a good price however he would not be able to do it until a week later. Rain was coming over the weekend and I needed it fixed. Then I contacted Kenny from James Deans Roofing. He came out on Tuesday gave me another good price and stated he could do the job on Thursday which would be before the next rain. Wednesday Kenny called me to let me know they just finished a job and could do my roof that day. Of course I was very relived. They replace 21 tiles, caulk tiles that were loose. Today is Friday Dec 30 and it has rained a lot and guess what no leak. I am very thankful to Kenny and his two other workers for doing a excellent job in a short time before the rain. I would recommend him and will use him in the future

End of March: Called James Deans Roofing for estimate of roof job (approx. 60 sq ft).
Few days later they left a written estimate at my door.
Kenny called to ask me to sign the estimate. I did and emailed it to him
April 1: Kenny called to say that someone would be out April 11 to start a two day job.
A man spent some of Monday, Tues, and a little of Wed. With only some of the underlayment nailed down they left my job for, as Kenny said, a larger job. He said there was too much wind, but that he was not going to take his men from a larger job to finish mine.
April 14: I called Kenny to tell him that the underlayment was getting torn up and trashed from the wind, because they had not nailed it down completely.
April 19: The original man and Kenny came to work on my roof. They started to nail down the torn pieces of underlayment. I told them that was not acceptable. As we both know that leaves more areas for rain water to enter the house.
April 20: Kenny said that he/they would be back to finish some caulking. That never happened.
Being an honest person, I mailed my check out thinking that Kenny realized they had done a good job and was done.
May: I had removed some of my ceiling under the roof to check for possible mold from leak(s), and had part of the ceiling covered with plastic until I felt the roof was done correctly. I wanted to replace the drywall and install a light, so in June, I finally decided to put a hose to the roof to make sure there were no leaks. Well, there was a MAJOR leak. The company had not finished the roof.
May, Tue 21: I Called Kenny to let him know and give him the option of finishing the job and doing the work the correct way, having another roofer do it and bill him, or go to court.
June 1: He said that he would be out next week. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. No call and no show.
June 10, Kenny called to say he would be by June, Thurs. 17 or Fri. June 18. Again, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.
June 29, STILL NO SHOW OR CALL TO FINISH THE JOB.!
Is this a roofer or contractor that you want to deal with. Certainly not me. I am ready to file for a court date.or contractor that you want to deal with. Certainly not me. How can you help me get this job

Quality work. Finished on time, left site spotless. Same $ as other 2 quotes. I'm so happy with the roof:) Highly recommended.
