my homeowners insurance doubled so timing was my top priority. I asked them to write into the contract if they didn't finish within 30 days of the permit that would get $500 off.. however, I didn't think of the little loophole that they would never pick up the permit. I started this process in July. It is now the end of October and my Roof does not have shingles or gutters. they still have not picked up the permit. Per the contract you pay 60% after the first day and 20% on single release so they basically have all of my money and I don't have a roof that is completed. Jason has not taken any of my calls. They said they picked up the permit. They did not. They said they scheduled the inspector, they did not. I am so upset of the additional stress that has caused me not to mention the financial strain of paying the additional insurance as my hands are tied because I can't change my insurance until this is done. Meanwhile, I get to hear the rain pounding on my roof without shingles. This has been a complete nightmare.

I cannot recommend recommend JAE. Their preliminary work of applying the roof sealant failed to meet building code. Have not heard anything constructive from them in the two months since the Boca Raton building inspector failed their work.

This company replaced my roof in December of 2021. Then it started raining and the roof started leaking. I have called and they gave me the run around. Finally they sent someone to look at it. He said there was a problem. That was 2 weeks ago. Nobody has returned to repair it. Nobody will return my calls. I have filed a complaint with the Florida attorney General. Do not use this company

I have never written a review or commented on a company , but I just needed people to know about JAE Roofing and how horrible the service , the communication , workmanship and follow up. After spending $30,000 on a new roof the new roof was leaking right away . From the beginning I saw trouble looming . All I could maybe say it was a COVID delay but other houses around me had the shingles ready to go .
1. They damage my car that was on the side of the house about 7 to 10 feet away .
2. Left a huge mess of roof nails , tar , wood and just debris inside the garage with out clean up .
3 . My roof started to leak when the put the 30lb under roof felt and now no have a huge stain and crack on 2 parts of my house .
4 . JAE,, They came in my house to look at the leaks and with the dirty boots and black tar damage most of my very expensive carpets .
5 . After new roof completed started to leak right Away . They needed to come out 3 times to fix the issue .
6. My shingles on a part of the house are not the same color as the rest of the house .
7. Left nails all over the garage , front and back yard so my Childers and I can step on them.

Well that is all . Hope this helps some clients out to do better research on roofing companies.

The flash was not installed and now we have a huge leak in our kitchen!
I have $20K in damages. A licensed plumber found the leak. The insurance inspector came our and saw that the flashing was not installed and there was mold growing on the roof where it was not nailed down.

They do not want my calls and they certainly do not want to give me their insurance details.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!

BEWARE!!!! If you like no communication, being insulted , taking a year to complete a project, this is the Company for you. Please READ your contract. This Company after damaging the inside of my ceiling due to adding a new roof will not pay for repairs nor fix any leaks caused by them. After spending 25,000 you would think that you would be treated better. Very disorganized Office and poorly run. Use another Company please .

Worse company ever I hired them in April 2021 and now it's October 2021 and still the roof is not completed. I would like someone to tell me what I should do now

Description of Complaint:
Initially hired with first deposit 2/10/21. Showed up to demo existing shingle roof and install new metal roof on 5/15/21. Roof was demolished and tar paper installed 5/15/2& 5/16/21. Since then has not returned to the job nor called for any inspections. Numerous attempts to contact project manager & owner with no progress since. Massive amounts of water damage now throughout my house and video sent to project manager and owner today 6/11/21. Employee came out today to assess and document damage. Per employee ""we are just subcontractors to JAE construction and nothing here is done correctly. Everything that has been done thus far needs to be redone"". Jae construction has already collected %60 of the initial quote, but has yet to complete anything, leaving my home in an even worse situation than before they started. They also sent an additional invoice today for supposed additional materials, but have still yet to even complete their first inspection. Owner will not respond at all. Unbelievable

I just had my roof changed by JAE Construction Group. From my initial phone call until the last inspection , everything was handled with excellent customer we service and professionalism. Ron Menjivar, who was assigned my project, was always available to answer all my questions and concerns. He went out of his way to come by and fix something that I unintentionally took apart. He was excellent. I recommend this company and especially Ron.

We recently decided to hire jae's construction to replace our roof..it has been a wonderful experience from the moment I called them to the finish result.i have been dealing with claire an employee of there's and she is phenomenal, always happy and polite and has answered all of our concerns and questions. As a woman dealing with a roofer has been challenging since I haven't a clue about Roofing but with claire by my side made it very easy .also the employees of jaes construction could not have been nicer and so polite,even covering my pool and beautiful landscape.when they were done even sweeped and took the hose to finish Cleaning..what a concept these days couldn't be happier definitely recommend this company to get the job done.
