This should not have happened (see attached photo). Now I'm having to pay someone to seal the holes left behind in the eaves and have them painted again, all around the house. The nails they used were obviously too long. They also never figured out where a leak was coming from. A warning to anyone considering using this company to observe the work being done while it's being done. I cannot recommend them.

Jacobs Roofing replaced our ancient roof in Morro Bay a few years ago, shortly after buying our fixer-upper. This was the first of much more work done on our new (old) house. In short, they were excellent. Many more contractors worked on our house, but none had a lack of drama and first-class work of Jacobs Roofing. They showed up on time, worked all day and cleaned up every evening. It was a week of very little disruption. Highly recommended.

In 2016 we had them put in a whole new roof after buying a fixer upper 4 story home. They met every important quality in a contractor. They showed up every time they told you they would be there, considerate of homeowner, quality work, stood behind there guarantee. Now we are selling the home and they even moved the guarantee over to our new buyers which helps us sell our home more smoothly. Can't say enough positives about them. Oh yes, and such a fair price for the work!! You need to make sure you call them you won't regret it !!

Mr. Jacobs came by to give me his bid estimate. Very nice guy and very thorough in measuring my roof and analyzing the damages. He's been very busy roofing other jobs so scheduling was a bit of a wait, but if it's quality and reasonable cost you want, he is VERY much worth the wait. Excellent work crew. Very polite and friendly. Answered all my questions without hesitation. They did an excellent job and my new roof looks better than new! My original roof had some heavy damage from wind storms and heavy dry rot. He took care of all the dry rot issues, replace the fascia boards, replaced my vents, added additional vents, took great care in removing my security cameras, (since they were mounted on the inside of the fascia boards) and when the roofing job was done, mounted the cameras exactly where they originally mounted. No adjustments to the cameras were needed. Took great care of protecting my landscape by covering it with tarps. Clean up was immaculate. I looked carefully for any nails or bits of trash that may have been missed, but there was absolutely nothing. They we're totally thorough. I was extremely pleased with the total cost and the quality of their expert workmanship. I was sure there was going to be an increase to the bid estimate (after all, it is called an estimate) because of all the extra work that was involved, but he kept to the original bid estimate. I highly recommend Jacob's Roofing. I wish I could give them 10 Stars.

Dude literally hung up on me when I asked for a recommendation as to someone who could help me with a leak after he said he didn't have the manpower to chase leaks. I get it if you can't do my job, but to just hang up on a potential customer seems lame.
