I reached out to Jaco Contracting a couple of days after Hurricane Helene damaged the roof on our home. I had a response from them in hours to get someone to come out and look at our roof.

A couple of days later Jaco sent Miguel Martinez out to look at our roof. He also tarped the roof for us in a spot that had allowed water to leak into the house, damaging the living room ceiling. The estimate was free. Miguel was an absolute godsend through the entire process, letting us know how to proceed with each step.

Miguel came back when our insurance adjuster surveyed our roof. He was a great help in working with the adjustor to ensure all the damage was noted. Three hours later our insurance company said they would replace the entire roof and repair our living room ceiling that was also damaged.

Jaco had a crew replace our roof within a couple of weeks, taking a single day to do so. A couple of weeks later another crew repaired our ceiling. That only took an hour and a half.

Please note, Jaco wanted to do the work all in one day, but we had to shuffle our dogs in and out of the house. They were very understanding of that, too. ""No problem.""

The work was outstanding. So was the customer service. I can't recommend them enough. Hope you get Miguel assigned to your project.

Landon Harper was an absolute pleasure to work with. He explained everything, and all of the work was completed on time and inspected. He did an amazing job, and was always responsive to all calls and questions. All warranty papers are complete. An outstanding experience!

JACO did an amazing job replacing our roof which was nearly 25 years old. Heath was the salesperson, very professional, brought us real shingle samples that we could see and touch and got immediately on the roof to inspect it and measure it.
We had called 3 companies to get quotes but JACO was the best and most competitive. They came early in the morning and finished the job in one day. Zack was in charge of this incredibly hard-working crew of over a dozen workers, all very skilled. After they left everything spotless.
I highly recommend them I think they are the best roofing company around.

Ryan and his team started on my roof at 7 in the morning and work done by 5 they cleaned up very nicely picked up all the nails the guys were very professional and very kind and courteous I have nothing bad to say about this company

JACO did my roof almost 3 years ago. I called for a repair, nobody answered the phone. Tried the salesman that sold me the roof and left 2 messages. No response. Went to the office, guy there said he would call salesman. Didn't happen. Got a call from the ""Quality control supervisor "". Said he would call the next day. Call never came.
Good for one time roofing. NEVER EXPECT THEM TO COME BACK. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.!
CALL SOMEONE ELSE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Came out and finished my roof in about 6hrs. Looks great and even handled a small monsoon that hit shortly afterwords.

I do not know about the rest of the company but mr simmons was the worst contractor I have ever seen verbally abusive , cursing and even threatening to put a lean on the property bc he quoted a different price than he wanted. was very slow on the work and even rekeyed our doors without consent. like I said I don't know about the rest of the company but if you see simmons as youre contractor run...!!!

They were ready to come out to my house when they thought I wanted a full roof inspection but then blew me off AFTER setting an appointment. I told Ryan all I needed was some patch work he seemed a little put off but still set an appointment for the following Monday. Never showed up - I called the company and they blew me off.

Here is the thing: any company that does business like this screams distrustful: why set the appointment? Why not just tell me they weren't interested? Wasted my whole day because I didn't need them to come out for their ""free inspection"" and wouldn't even show the moral fortitude to return my call.

I would give less than 1 star if I could.
