Jack is an honest business man that will not try and sell you on something that you don't need! Jack came to my house today for a quote. I originally called him to look at my rain gutters, he quoted me a price and then was as honest enough to tell me that I didn't even need to change my gutters, I could work with what I have and he would put something up so what I currently have will still work. While he was there I was so impressed with his knowledge, I asked him to take a look at my backyard patio to replace dry rot and roofing. He is very professional and was right on time! Thank you for being one of the rare companies that still care about people!

I have home for seniors and we had a leek that needed to be fixed. When Jack showed up 1 hour late I shower him the room that we had the problem in. I told him I would show him how to get in the attic and the best way to get on the roof. He said he didn't need to and that he would be back in a few minutes. Over an hour later I looked and his truck was gone. I called up and they said they didn't know where he was. How can you give me a price to fix a roof if you don't look at it?

Top Quality work at a very fair price. We recently had our tile roof replaced by Jack
The Roofer. They were extremely easy to work with. They answered our questions and explained all of our options. The crew was great. They worked hard and finished the job quickly. They completely cleaned up every day so there was no mess. They also fixed dry rot and other damage. We could not be happier with the job they did.

Being in the consumer protection business, I spend a lot of time with contractors and have had thousands of experiences both good and bad. I can tell you that my experience with Jack the Roofer was awesome. I spent most of the time working with Neil and Ginger, both just top notch people. Jack and Neil worked with me on our tight budget, made some recommendations that proved to be invaluable and produced an end-result that completely changed the look of our house. Neil and his crew arrived each day in a timely manner, were very courteous, worked like dogs and kept me posted as the project progressed. Considering that contractor fraud and complaints are out of control in California, having the opportunity to work with Jack the Roofer was a really refreshing experience. I went with Jack the Roofer based on a number of community recommendations and a thorough background check which our www.delta5home.com team does routinely. I've seen his work in the community and spoken with a dozen of his past clients and all had the same experience I did. Jack the Roofer replied to my review however I don't think he is thinking of the right person as he is talking about a ""he"" and I'm a she! I stand by my review. I got 4 quotes and decided to use James Robertson for my roof and he did a fantastic job, I would recommend him 100%. I picked him for his fantastic reviews on Yelp and the fact that he didn't have any complaints with BBB, Jack the Roofer has a complaint listed with them. We did have small patches dry rot but no leaks, all the other roofers who quoted went up and walked the actual roof and inspected the fascias around the house before they quoted, Jack the Roofer was the only one who didn't go up on the roof to inspect, and the only one who said we had a leak. The other roofers said the roof was water tight but had dry rot on the fascias and it was getting close to replacement time.
Yelpers can read the reviews and make their own decision. I made my decision and I'm glad I used James R Robertson to replace my roof. My neighbor was so impressed with them she is getting her roof done by James R Robertson next week.

We had our home re-modeled some years ago and our contractor worked closely with ""Jack The Roofer"" so we selected him for our customized multi-pitched roof. We were extremely impressed at the time with the service and quality work Jack and his team provided. Now some years later, Jack always stands behind his work and responds to any minor servicing that may be needed on the roof. We realized that we had some open areas where little ""critters"" were getting into our Attic and Jack immediately took care of our needs and sealed them up as a courtesy service step. This speaks loudly to the type of business owner and company Jack (Jack the roofer) manages.

I would highly recommend this company. They are committed to service and quality work.

No way!!!! My mother had Jack the Roofer (Jack himself) out to her house and we had leaks in my brothers room. He charged us $1200.00 to do what???? Ill tell you exactly... TO POUR TAR ALL OVER OUR ROOF which looked HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. And the worst part.... it continued to leak once the first rain... So my mother calls Jack and what did he do to fix it?? He poured more tar!! I felt like I was at a field trip to the La Brea Tar Pits!!! My poor mom is a single mom, I was so disappointed by what seemed like this nice guy who brought his cute dog everywhere with him... When my fiance finally checked out what the deal was it was embarrassing.. It looked horrible and then all the sudden Jack was unreachable. what a sign of poor workmanship. We had to hire someone completely new to FIX someone elses mistakes. Save yourself the time. I am not one to badmouth others but I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.
