We needed a roof repair and a retired contractor told us that Jack Wilson would be the only roofer in Jax he would recommend. Our roof is only a few years old, but we didn't own the home when it was done. I heard a drip from the ceiling to the floor. I called and they came out in a few hours. It was a nail that had popped up causing the leak. They could tarp it and repair it another time, but since the rain had stopped they could to it then. They looked for the exact shingles, but couldn't find them and they were concerned. The match is co close, I didn't even notice. They were reasonably priced, exceptionally conscientious and professional. They are properly licensed by the state and their license number is on their signs and cards as required by the state. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof or roof repair.

My roof was 20 years old and after calling several places and not hearing back I finally got a few estimates and one was from Jack C Wilson. They were very responsive and great to work with. Every question I had was answered and Jake even took the time to show me some of the repairs I might need. During replacement I was called and updated several times and the job was done in one day. I am very happy with the quality of my new roof.

Chris, one of the owners, returned my initial call within the hour. Set up a date and time for an estimate within the same week. I was so surprised (given it is the busiest season of the year for roofers) when I was able to get on the schedule and have the work done within just a couple weeks after the day of the estimate.
SCOTT & CORY did an AWESOME job! They went above and beyond to check and cleaned up EVERYTHING before they left. Except for the color of the new roofing, no one would ever have known they came and went. They were very friendly, polite and knew their job! They were honest about work that was not necessary, called the boss to discuss, and my bill was immediately adjusted. Truly grateful for this. These guys are a tremendous asset to this already great company! I would highly recommend Jack C. Wilson Roofing and the fellas that did this job to anyone! Will be hiring them again in the very near future!

We just acquired another property and the roof on this thing is 20 years old. Jack C Wilson was one of the estimates we received.

My call was promptly returned and scheduling an estimate was painless. Harry arrived on time and provided a written estimate on the spot. We took some time to think about it and decided to go with Jack Roofing. I called on a weekend, left a message and my phone call was returned first thing on Monday morning. Getting Harry to come back out was once again, painless. He went over the options, paperwork and next steps.

So far so good and will update the review once the re-roof has been completed.

From start to finish, I was extremely impressed by my experience with Jack Wilson. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional. Starting with Harry, my estimator, who came out to do my initial inspection. He was such a pleasure to work with, very transparent and honest. He even helped answer some questions that came up later on his day off. I wanted to get the roof installed ASAP, and Harry was able to push up my install date! The folks in the office were friendly and courteous on the phone. My roof was installed in one day, and the project coordinator came back the next day to ensure that everything was cleaned up properly. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I very highly recommend!

Harry was our salesman. He was very professional and friendly. He was also very patient while we did get other quotes and make our final decision.

Once roofing day was here, the staff was very prompt and efficient. They took good care in making sure that the lawn was properly tarped to ensure tidiness.

The day of project manager came by a little after start time and informed us of what would be happening and when. Chris was very thorough in ensuring everything we agreed upon would be completed. He came back at the end to inspect the job was well done and we didn't have any concerns.

We LOVE our new roof and cannot recommend them enough! It's very apparent why/how they have been in business for 70+ years!

The office staff was also extremely friendly and courteous. Lynn was so sweet and helpful when I had some follow up requests for insurance purposes.

They provide before pictures to describe the work and provide after pictures to show what they did. They provide references and all permitting and bonding documentation. I highly recommend them.

We've all been here. Florida hurricanes have passed through Jacksonville. Hail storms hit the Julington Creek Plantation area pretty hard. And then the roofers show up. We've all seen it. Hundreds of homes getting new roofs in a community that is 20+ years old and needing new roofs... regardless of whether or not mother nature has punched us along the way.

Tired of getting knock after knock from the unscrupulous ""storm chaser"" roofing companies... ""Hi! I'm in your neighborhood installing a roof on your neighbor's house and it looks like your roof is damaged as well..."" I finally got tired of answering the door to these vultures. They all promise free roofs from your insurance company. Good luck with that. Very hard to do. And for the many that have already gamed the system... thanks. Thanks for driving up home insurance prices all over Florida. Just wait until your next insurance bill comes due.

I called 5 companies that I had seen around the area that had good Yelp and Angie's List ratings. All of them said I just had an old roof that needs replacing. But the ONLY roofing company representative that was down to earth and took the time to explain EXACTLY what was wrong with my roof was Kyle Voss of Jack C. Wilson Roofing Company.

This company is legit. Two brothers who continued the long standing reputation of a LOCAL and trustworthy roofing company. They are not the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive either. He was thorough and patient, even waiting almost a year for me to save my pennies to pay for the roof myself.

His company does it different. They do it right! No prestaging. There are no stacks of shingles sitting on top of your roof for a week before the job. Why? Because he says that roofers have to move the shingles out of the way just to get to the ridge of the roof, so it doesn't make sense to prestage until the old roof is removed. I asked about the growing trend of roofers around here covering up the off-ridge vents and installing new top ridge vents. Kyle was able to explain that it's not a good idea to go against the engineering principles of why the home builder built all of these house with off-ridge vents. Very smart and down to earth.

The debris trailer they use is a normal trailer with normal tires, and is brought in on the day of the job. Not some steel trailer with steel wheels that is left in your driveway for days before AND after a job. A steel trailer that leaves cracks in your driveway. No sir. Jack Wilson roofing uses a normal trailer that is only on property as long as the job is current. Then it's gone.

The crew are EXPERTS. Very fast. Very efficient. And very accurate. And the cleanup was impeccable. Lots of tarps to catch the stray shingles and nails. Yes, I did find about 20 to 30 nails around the yard with an industrial magnet after the job was done, but I was warned by the foreman that this is normal. From what I saw of the cleanup, it was ""All Hands On Deck"" and everyone of the roofers came down and walked the yard with magnets. Great attention to detail.

Afterwards, upon inspection by myself and Kyle Voss (yes! The owner shows up after the job is complete to inspect for himself), we noticed that the fascia had been slightly damaged over my garage. No problem. He had his carpenter come out the next day, remove the fascia, take it back to the shop to color-match it and reinstalled it a day later. Looks great!

Yes, get estimates from other roofers. But in the end, you will end up liking this company. There was a good vibe from Kyle Voss, the foreman, the site manager, and all of the workers.
