Jorge came out right away when a tree fell through the roof of my daughter's house last winter and made sure the roof was watertight. He replaced the broken roof tiles, inspected the entire roof, replaced some old flashings, and (the best part) cleaned up the mess after they finished.

Last summer, they replaced the roof on my house. It was a big job as my wife wanted tile. The entire job took a week, they showed up early every day and stayed late to finish the job. Replaced the dry rot in the eves, replaced the gutters, and best all, cleaned up after themselves and hauled it all away.

I have absolutely no reservations giving JV roofing the highest rating.

Jorge and his crew did an excellent job on the roof at our Mill Valley home. Without asking them to, they added 3 additional vents for our attic, repaired and re-flashed the chimney, replaced and regraded our rain gutters (they even double checked them by flushing water through them). They were efficient, hard working and respectful to our neighbors. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was done and even touched up the paint where it was needed. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for our other property.

It was time to replace my roof, painful as that reality is, and called on 3 different contractors for estimates. I must say that I liked Jorge and his crew immediately, whatever that inner voice tells one. During the estimate, Jorge found a leak source on my roof and caulked it to prevent further damage and until I could hire a contractor - at no charge! While his estimates came in close to the others, Jorge was flexible with making 'unknown' repairs as part of the overall estimate price. (By unknown I mean if he tore off the old roof and found dry-rot, he would repair it at no extra charge. The other contractors mentioned an extra charge for dry rot. And, I had dry rot.) JV Roofing replaced not only my roof, but also 3 leaky skylights, and I'm thrilled with the results. They show up on time, and finish the job when they say they'll finish the job. I can't recommend JV Roofing high enough!

Had a leak at a window where a front porch roof met the window on the inside for a couple of years. Had called multiple roofers and window repair companies. All said replace the window, just by looking at it.
Jorge came out the same day, took one look, pulled a ladder off of his truck turned on the hose and showed me how and where the leak was ON THE ROOF. Needless to say i was ready to go. He also inspected the roof on my two story home, took pictures and showed me some areas.
His team came out within a couple of days, arrived on time. Repaired the seam where the roof line met the stucco.
He also repaired some other areas, including caulking around my chimney, and some worn shingles and cleaned the gutters.
Their cleanup was awesome.
Very easy to work with, no surprises on price. Recommend them.

My flat porch roof has been leaking for years. Finally this year I decided to do something about it. I had no idea what kind of roofer I needed and several roofers came and just wanted to add a new roof. I did not want a new roof. I just wanted a roof repair to stop leaking. I called Angies List and interviewed several roofers. I ended up hiring J V Roofing. They were able to come to my house to inspect the roof the day after I called them. Jorge climbed up on the roof and checked it out. He even took my hose and ran water to see where the leaks were. He showed me what was wrong, where it leaked and told me what he could do to stop the leaks. He was willing to fix the roof and not replace it. His quoted price was reasonable and I hired him.
They came soon after with three people. Two got on the roof and started cleaning, preparing the roof and fixing the roof. It took half a day and they were finished. Jorge even washed my two skylights. Nice touch.
I've been waiting and waiting for it to rain so I could write this yelp and it finally rained and I did not have to put out all the garbage cans that I used to, to collect the leaking rain. All the leaks were gone and the porch was clean.
I definitely recommend J V Roofing. They came in a timely manner, inspected to see what was wrong and what to do, explained what they saw and what they had to do and quoted a fair price for what I wanted done. The porch now does not leak and we can enjoy it. After they finished they cleaned up all their materials and garbage. The place looked nice and clean.
