I have to brag on this company! I made an effort to come write this review today because JFerg has been such an amazing company to work with. They put a roof on five years for me 5 years ago and it's still going strong! Today I called because some shingles blew off due to extreme wind, and they came to fix the issue the same day. This company is dedicated to their customers, and will not let you down If you choose them.

J Ferg replaced my roof just over a year ago. I discovered a leak at the transition between the house roof and the patio roof. I called their warranty department 3 times before a service man was sent out. I was told the leak was caused by a build up of leaves in a crevice. He swept the leaves off, and left them scattered in the back yard. The next week it rained and I still had the leak. I called the warranty department and they told me that they cannot come out and sweep the leaves off my roof every time it rains. I called the person I dealt with when I purchased the roof. He advised me that he had left J Ferg, along with some other employees, and started their own business. I told him my situation. He came out and worked over 3 hours repairing the leak. He refused to be paid for the repair, saying since he sold the job, he felt personally responsible to stand behind it. Goodbye J Ferg, hello Blue Ridge Roofing, Kyler Steinbeck

I called for a roof inspection and they came out the same day. After it was determined that we had extensive damage to the roof for hail, and we made arrangements through our insurance company, we decided to go with J Ferg. On the day of install, they arrived at 0700 and stay until 9 pm. The crew worked hard and it was over 100 degrees... it took exactly one week from the call to do the job until it was completed. The new roof looks awesome! I would highly recommend this company. They were very professional throughout the process, and very fast.

They replaced my roof after a hail storm in 2019. First, the day after their workers arrived I had two guns stolen from my truck and one from my wife's car. However, had no proof of who took it. Second, after my insurance company paid them over $10K they still wanted an additional $2700 for the roof. This is a small house. After negotiating with the field rep he finally did away with the bill and text me that I did not owe any more money on the roof. Then several weeks letter I received a letter from a law office that had taken a collection action against me for the bill. I contacted the field rep immediately and he again said he would take care of it. Then next day he told me I had to a pay it in full.

They are lucky they are getting any stars. The work was amazing! The service from everyone outside of the construction crew was ridiculous. We were over-charged, and was told we would receive a refund. Three weeks later, we are still waiting on that refund. We live 120 miles from the main office. I don't think that the mail takes 3 weeks. I should have gotten the contact information for the roofing crew, so I could just call them directly next time. It won't be JFerg.

We had J ferg guys come to our door after the big hail storm in June to talk about repairing my husbands (very obviously damaged) truck parked out front and asked if we had had our roof repaired or inspected yet. We decided to give them our business on vehicle repairs and our roof and gutters that needed replacing. The roofing aspect of things was a nightmare from the time we ""scheduled"" the work. I use that term loosely because They took forever to get us scheduled (I had to call them repeatedly) and they kept using the reasoning that they were more busy than usual because of the storm. Well, then don't come to peoples doors asking for their business if you are spread too thin! This company has ZERO communication!! We had specified repeatedly that we wanted to keep our old gutters that they were taking off for my father in law to use and they made notes and assured us that the gutters would be taken down and left on our porch. The gutters were ripped off in pieces and completely destroyed and thrown in the yard. The Vice President assured me (after months of me trying to get the problem resolved) that they would be putting new gutters on for my father in law at no charge because of the countless issues they caused us. This was in JUNE, it is now October and all my father in law has gotten is a phone call each month saying they will ""be out next week"" and no one shows up. The gutter guy we had the displeasure of dealing with for our home, did not do the job right and was completely rude. The gutters leak and were not done the way we asked despite more ""notes"" made to ensure it would be. I made the VP aware of this....but still no repairs have been made or scheduled.
This is just a sample of what we went through, there are too many to list. Do not use J Ferg for roofing. I will never recommend them to anyone. Use AAMCO for gutters. They are great!!

This is a business that is dedicated to EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Every employee that we ran across before, during & after their work was polite & dedicated to better than average service. It took two days to replace my roof. The first night they cleaned up, squared the remaining parts & covered up the trailer. We drove around & could tell a J Ferg crew without a sign because of the clean work area. They even have a cleaning crew that follows up to clean any stains from your driveway. I was contacted by several different employees several times during the roof replacement to make sure I was happy with their work. Excellent customer service is the most important function of any business and the J Ferg crew are top on my list. Thank you!

We not be using your services due to one of your 'vultures' ringing my doorbell today at 2 pm... on a Sunday. He asked to look at my roof the day after a hail storm. On a Sunday? Really? Be considerate.
