You know when you have to call the roofer in LA its a bad day, and so right off the bat you can expect the folk who call to feel like they are having a root canal done. I feel sure that those negative reviews which I see here are from people who haven't had a good start.

This is my experience is different. Jose's guys arrive on time, they have a clean looking vehicle and they get right to work. They are neat and tidy up as they go, and they do good work that looks great and stopped the leak. Some times you have to throw a tarp over the problem if you don't want the ceiling to fall in, I get that.

I have had three or four roofers come out over the last few years to attempt to fix the leaks that developed from having solar panels installed then. My roof is a bit tricky too with many angles and a couple of chimneys. None of these other roofers successfully fixed the problem. J.A.D. Roofs did and a four day wind and rain storm right after work completed was the ultimate test. A+

Go to ANY OTHER company besides this one. The owner will curse you out and leave projects unfinished. He cried about not having access to a unit that they already gave an estimate for. All they were supposed to do was lay tarp down for two units and they couldn't even do that before the rain tomorrow even though they had already been approved for work 13 days ago...but they have SO many customers and acted as though they were doin us a favor and then proceeded to curse me out on the phone. Also the receptionist who called in the morning has zero phone skills and gave a preview of how Jose would conduct himself. This is a trash company and should be left there. Find any other roofer!

Exceptional service!!! Fixed our roof in a timely manner. Truly exceeded our expectations. I would recommend him without a doubt.

If i have an option, i wouldn't give them a star. Due to recent rain in LA, we called their service to fix the roof leak. These people placed a mickey mouse on our roof (ineffective and insufficient roof tarp). Our roof continued to leak and caused further damage to our dry walls. When we called Jose SEVERAL Times, he kept saying they are super busy and they can do nothing about the problem and i am not the only customer and they have 20 other people in line. For sometime, i felt as if i am asking for some favor or a free service from these people. We waited for two more days and they still had the same answers. We had to call another roofing company and they were just able to come in an hour and they took out the mickey mouse from JAD Roofs and put a stable tarp and secured our AC Flashings. After few days, JAD sent us an invoice for $320/- despite their irresponsible and negligent work.

Homeowners beware! Asked for an estimate, which I did not receive. Tried to nickel and dime me by doing work that was not written up. Owner actually yelled at me when he wanted money to remove work I did not want. Bad business model. Bad on me for just looking through Yelp.

We just had the roof on our home replaced last week by JAD Roofs. Jose, Anthony and their crew were super easy to work with. Very professional, great at communicating about the process and got the job done really efficiently and as budgeted. Where there was an unexpected issue with some skylights, they gave us good options to get things resolved properly and most cost effectively. Would definitely recommend.

Jose and JAD Roofs were great. I needed my garage roof replaced in late 2013, and they gave a great quote, stuck by it, did the job on time and on budget. He communicated regarding issues and suggestions and went with my decisions. I now need the house repaired and just called him. (That's why this review is coming 2 years later - I forgot to post then.)

JAD Roofs gave our condo complex in Santa Monica a new roof this past Spring. They did a terrific job, the crews worked really hard, they were on time everyday and got the work done as quickly as possible. We now are enjoying our new Title 24 energy efficient roof. José Diaz, the owner, gave us daily updates of the work and was right on top of the job throughout the entire process - we could not have been happier with their work.

my Comercial building had a leak mr Jose the owner came in with his crow and fix the roof and patch the areas that needed to get patched he did not try to sell me a whole roof he fixed only what was needed to get fixed and that was with a very fair price
Very fair and honest co.
And excellent qualaty work that last for many years ( that was 5 years ago )
