Omg if there was a mine is zero I would put it. this man is a thief he'll drain you for as much money as he possibly can. The narcissist will lie to you. A one month remodel took nearly a year only time we saw him was, and he was demanding money. The workmanship was the worst. $50,000 remold for a condo and we had to hire people to come in and fix his mess. He didn't pull the permits on time didn't use license plumbers or electricians. 30 gallons of paint we hired him because his sidekick Nikki had some very good ideas.. however Bert shouldn't be allowed to have a license. One of his workers came in with an ankle bracelet on, and I don't mean the decorative kind. avoid dealing with this man.

Review Island Dream Homes (Bret Jones and Micki Mansfield)

We hired Bret Jones of Island Dream Homes for a garage addition project that was estimated to take 2-3 months on May 9th, 2023. We are now on day 442 with no end in sight. The project was supposed to include a Haas 360 Garage Door and a Nova 90 Entry door, both of which have not been paid for or installed despite us paying over 90% of the contracted amount. They want us to pay for these doors, though they are written into the contract. We also were asked to pay the flooring subcontractor, though ""polished concrete floors"" are also written into the contract, and signed by Bret Jones.

As of today, besides it being a shell with no doors, we also do not have basic amenities such as AC, power, a toilet, a sink, lights, fans, or finished interior or exterior paint. It has been two weeks since we last saw any workers on site. Bret Jones refuses to come to the house to discuss the project and has resorted to hanging up on us during our last phone call.

Will Bret Jones be a ""man of his word"" and honor the contract, or will Island Dream Homes continue to breach their obligations? Only time will tell. We will update this review to reflect whether they ultimately fulfill their promises or not.

worst company I've ever used overpriced sub par work . wants weekly draws so he can pay workers for other jobs. A reputable company gets a deposit then is payed once work is complete.

I was charged 5 hours for administrative service's which was not part of our agreement. I was also overcharged for the man hours used on my project. The owner sent nasty text message and has a complete attitude which was shocking. I had to retain an attorney to get some of my money back.. A law suit is being filed to recover the remaining money owed. I recommend reading the complaints filed on the BBB website. My advice is to not use this unethical business.RUN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!! I recommend the business name is changed to ISLAND NIGHTMARE HOMES!!!!!

VENDOR BEWARE! I am a painting contractor that did a small job for them. Invoiced Island Dream Homes, after 2 months, still no payment. Not a reliable company when you don't pay your vendors.

I contacted them through Home Advisor and Yelp to do our two bathrooms and they suggested doing our kitchen as well since it also needed work and it would be cheaper and easier to do all this at once. Now everything is upgraded to new materials and current codes. Bret or Mikki were here in person almost every day and leaving the house open for the workers was no problem. Almost like using the TV design people. They are highly recommended and reliable. Would recommend them for any project.

I had a lot of remodeling done to my home in New Smyrna Beach, FL, and was very happy with the ending results. Beautiful work done at a reasonable cost, and it was done in a timely manner,. Mr. Jones and Micki handled everything for me, and it was a pleasure doing business with them. Thank you again.

ISO a roofing contractor? BUYER BEWARE.............We hired Island Roofing and Island Dream Homes to put a tile roof on our new home in March 2016. They have all of our money, $23,000.00, and we still do not have a roof on November 14,2016. The portion of the roof that has been done is inferior. Do NOT hire this company. Do NOT hire Adam Harvey or Bret Jones to do work for you.
