Nothing but trouble with Ironclad Roofing. They have repeatedly failed to fix their subcontractors mistakes. Now they are threatening to file a mechanics lien because I refuse to pay them any more money. I have paid $16000. so far. I have a good roofing company starting next week to try and fix the mistakes made by Ironclad. One of Ironclad's own subcontractors told me that previous work was done wrong and it looks bad. The owner came out and looked and agreed that there were things done wrong (hex head screws used instead of rivets, short pieces of ridge cap material with sloppy joints, and ridge caps installed incorrectly). He promised they would fix everything. They have not. We signed with them because they promised to take care of everything. They missed more work dates than they have made and there is work in the insurance settlement they have not even addressed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

We were very pleased with the job Iron Clad did for us. The team was very professional and courteous. Our roof on our house looks amazing and we love the job they did on our gazebo and storage building. We were very pleased with the cleanup after the job was done in one day. These guys are as bad as it gets; subcontract out everything but never finish .... EVER! Leave the roof open to leaks for weeks at a time, rain in my house ruining my flooring never paid to fix it ; started wanting money right off then more money.... finally had to bring in another roofer to finish job they would not complete as they abandoned the roof job only 65% done .... the WORST EVER!!!

Tried to get an estimate from Iron Clad; I am assuming they are too busy and don't want any new business. The sales person very buff and driving his Cadillac (never said his name nor gave me a card) came late and did not bring a ladder to inspect the roof, asked me how many squares it took for the roof. He only wanted to know about my insurance and when the adjuster would be there. After a lot of BS said he would call with an estimate tomorrow or the next day, after two weeks of nothing I assumed they are too busy!!

For what should have taken 10-15 days has now gone on for several weeks despite a few weather days. This contractor has delayed the completion of this project by not providing an adequate crew and inconsistent work schedules. In discussions with the workers, they are a 3rd party/subcontractor. They have created a mess around the property leaving construction debris as well as other garbage (water bottles, lunch wrappers and the like). Nails, screws and metal cuts/shavings are both exposed and unexposed in grassy areas making it unsafe for for family and pets to walk around. They have performed unprofessionally on the installation of the porch covering, meaning that they obviously have no idea on how to install it as well as not remove the water barrier from the ridge vents prior to installation of the ridge caps (saw this from inside the attic). Sealant from the roof melted and leaked onto the newly rebuilt gazebo, which they broke when the old roofing fell on it, now causing it to be replace again along with the sealant needing to be removed from the brick on the side of the house. They broke off an outdoor light with falling debris along with causing my A/C units to be cleaned out do to nails and debris getting inside since they did not cover them. They also cut two security camera lines which shorted out one of the cameras causing replacement. This company has an apparent lack of concern and shows no hurry to complete or address issues. I have pictures supporting all the aforementioned allegations.

Avoid them at all cost. Worst service, messy workers constantly trashing back yard, manager absolutely horrid. Worst pick I have made in my life. Thinking court is a good solution.
