In early February 2021 I contacted this company to provide labor and material to install a roof on our pergola, paint the pergola, remove two old ceiling fans, install two new ceiling fans, do minor siding repair on the garage. The paint and new ceiling fans to be supplied by the home owner.

After approx two months I was starting to get annoyed that the company still had not scheduled our roof project. I have text messages as evidence of my communications with the company starting on April 12th and ending on April 26th. There were also phone conversations.

The last few text messages read as follows:
Monday April 19th. Home owner / customer text to Pippin:
Dear Bryson, please advise if you are going to start on our pergola roof project today.

Sunday April 25th at 8:28 PM. Pippin text to home owner / customer.

Hello Mr. Richard it's Bryson Pippin, Terrance's nephew. So after finally kinda getting caught up and looking over your estimate, says it was in February, it's now almost May and the material has gone up. Seeing if I can come in the morning and we can go over what we are doing again to get the right pricing. Thank you and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Tommorow morning still works but to come out and re-evaluate, not start work.

Sunday April 25th at 8:45 PM. Text message reply from home owner / customer to Pippin:
Dear Bryson & Terrance, with the exception of the freeze we had in February it's not my problem that you are just now scheduling to work on my project. I advised in February y'all were awarded the project. I will not be here tomorrow (Monday) and will be at work but you can come by the house again and review the scope of the project. The gate will be unlocked.

Sunday April 25th at 9:00 PM. Text message reply from Pippin to home owner / customer:
Sorry about such a late text, as you can tell this is how busy we are. haha.

Monday April 26th at 4:17 PM. Text message from home owner / customer to Pippin.
Dear Bryson, please advise did you go to our house today to review the pergola roof project?

As of 8:42 PM on 4.26.2021 no reply received from the contractor.

After this contractor misled us with bait and switch combined with their haughty attitude they are so busy, we are proceeding to use another contractor for our roof project. As a home owner that had our house flooded during Hurricane Harvey, even with insurance dealing with contractors for +/- 60K home repairs was a nightmare. The attitude, deception, and tone of this contractor over a small +/- $3k project exemplifies why the home contracting industry has such a bad reputation. Do not waste your time even contacting this contractor to come to your property to give an estimate. Thank you.

Picked this company from Angie's list because, it is one of the few that offered a free quote & was open on Saturday's. Called owner Terrance the Friday afternoon, he came out same day & provided quote. After examining he provided pictures of the roof leak and explanation of what was needed to repair along with quote which was very reasonable because, I was quoted the same price from the company which installed my roof but, they never called me back to schedule the appointment as promised. Terrance returned the next morning, fixed my roof leak, examined entire roof, and performed maintenance. Would definitely recommend******************
