I spoke with Brooke: she is a wonderful, intelligent person. It was a pleasure to work with her; she is extremely patient, friendly, helpful; and she understood my problem, helped me find a solution and followed-up later.

My Solar powered attic fan motor was making noises so I called Innovative Skylights & Attics for help. I'd bought this fan (and 2 others) from them about 20-years ago. I spoke with Brooke about this problem and she had Dan (the guy I bought these fans from 20-years ago) research the problem and get back to me. They got back to me with the price of a new motor within a day or so. Along with that, he gave me detailed instructions for how to change out the fan motor myself.
Brooke followed up with me a number of times to see how things were going. Since I'm disabled from the knees down, it took me awhile to get into the attic to check it out. In the end the noise in my fan motor went away and it's been working fine. But at least I know who to call if I find it fails in the future.
20 years and still going strong!

I first used Innovative Skylights in 2015 for 2 solar tubes in a new build home over the kitchen island. Very professional from estimate to installation. Once installed very rarely used the kitchen lights. Our second experience was in 2020&2021, we had purchased a larger home and installed 2 solar tubes in the kitchen and 2 solar tubes in the main living room. As previously, the service was better than expected, the installers are very mindful of furniture and floors, covering everything. Once they are finished there is nothing to clean. We had some questions about 5 months after installation and Dan and his team quickly resolved our issues. I would highly recommend this locally owned business to everyone!

I had been thinking of installing a skylight in my kitchen due to the darkness of not having any windows. However, I had a lot of reservations because of all the nightmares you hear with skylights leaking. I did my homework (a lot) and decided Velux was the only skylight offering a triple glass unit. and a great warranty. Innovative was one of two local preferred vendors Velux recommended. I had them come over, give me a quote then approved the work. On the Velux website, they're very detailed on how the skylight must be installed to avoid leaks and so forth therefore suggested using one of their preferred vendors who were trained on proper installation techniques.
Innovative arrived the day of install, stuck to the Velux details of installing the skylight and over one year later (somewhere around there), I wish I had had it installed years earlier. No leaks, no issues. They did a great job. Sometime next year, I plan on having them install one in the master bathroom! Highly recommend these people.....

I used Innovative Skylights and Attics back in March of 2012 and intentionally did not want to leave a review until I had my skylight for a while. Here it is nearly two years later and we've been through extreme wind, rain, cold, and heat and the skylight has held up with absolutely no problem. Although it is energy efficient I still feel our Houston heat coming down on me in the middle of summer but I am still pleased because it is not nearly as hot as it was with my old ""bubble"" gray skylight which also had a solar screen over it. It looks beautiful and I love the sunlight coming in, it is so much brighter than my old gray skylight with the sunscreen. Dan Marshall gave me a best case/worst case estimate, my final cost was the lowest estimate since he didn't run into any surprises and he also finished more quickly than expected. The job was done quickly and there was no mess left behind. I would highly recommend Innovative Skylights.
