Email: [email protected]. My father launched this business in 1965 in Chicago, IL. He worked with General Electric, Tootsie Toys, and Wonder Bread in the early 70s. As a kid, I was inspired by John Wayne and army movies. In '67, I enlisted and was lucky to serve in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY. After returning home, I started my roofing career. My father taught me every detail of roofing, from hot mopping to shingles and decking. By 1975, I was contracting with firms like International Harvester Tractors and Dresser Industries. In 2014, I relocated to Frisco to open a new branch of our business. Working here can be complex, with summer days demanding early starts and late finishes. I’ve adjusted to this schedule, and it’s now routine.

Sometimes, I believed my dad was stricter with me than with the other workers. He constantly pointed out my errors and insisted I fix them. For a time, I believed he was hard on me, but I later understood he sought perfection. I am grateful for his guidance. I enlisted in '67 with the 101st Airborne and came back to roofing afterward.
