Email: [email protected]. In 1965, my father founded this company in Chicago, IL. In the early 70s, he collaborated with General Electric, Tootsie Toys, and Wonder Bread. As a kid, I was inspired by John Wayne and army movies. I enlisted in '67 and had the fortune of serving in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY. After returning home, I started my roofing career. My father made sure I learned every aspect of roofing, including hot mopping, shingles, and decking. In 1975, I started contracting for companies such as International Harvester Tractors and Dresser Industries. I moved to Frisco in 2014 to establish a new branch of our company. Working here can be complex, with summer days demanding early starts and late finishes. I’ve adapted to this routine, and it has become second nature.

At times, I felt my dad was tougher on me than on the other workers. He was always on the lookout for my mistakes and required me to correct them. For a time, I believed he was hard on me, but I later understood he sought perfection. I appreciate his mentorship. I enlisted in '67 with the 101st Airborne and came back to roofing afterward.
