We have had a Solar electric system on our home since initial purchase 5 years ago. The system has worked well but we found we needed to add to the system to meet our current and future demand. Based upon our use and experience with our original system we had an idea of the type of system we wanted. We secured quotes from several companies and requested their recommendations. Based upon their responsiveness and competitive price we decided to go with Imperium.

Their team worked with us through the design phase, HOA and city permit process along with coordination with Southern California Edison. Since we had an existing system and an HOA we had some added complexity. We also requested the use of a micro inverter system to complement our original system. This was all handled in a timely and responsive manner by our Imperium representative Shawn.

Went with Imperium Energy after getting 5 different quotes. Their price was inline with the rest. Chose them because of the excellent customer service. Shawn was very responsive and took time to answer all my questions and go through different options of panels and size of system.

The permit process was quick and we were operational with in two weeks of installation. All the technicians that worked on the project were knowledgeable and courteous. They were on time and professional.

I have not received my first electric bill yet since the system has been active but am hoping the expense of the system cancels it out and feel good about doing something good for the environment. Would definitely recommend Imperium.

When I looked into solar I used a variety of platforms to find a reputable and responsive provider (e.g. NextDoor etc). Shawn at Imperium kept coming up. Shawn was a straight shooter - explained the good, bad and ugly of solar and we were able to work with him to get a new roof as well as solar panels. Shawn was realistic about how long the process would take, the blips in the system with inspections, DWP etc, and he and his crew got the job done quickly and cleanly. When issues came up during inspection that would require extra fees - the negotiations were very fair and I never felt blindsided by hidden costs. Shawn is always available by text and phone and walks you through the process carefully. I wanted to do my part with regard to reducing my reliance on traditional power sources and solar seemed a good place to start - Imperium made that process easier.

It's tax time and they sent me pdfs that I would need to get my tax credit. I already had these documents, but they sent them anyway without me asking for them. They could not have made it easier for me to get my tax credit.

We have been wanting to go solar for some time now. With the government solar tax credit, it became a no brainer that we should do this. But it wasn't until a neighbor posted about how happy they were by going with Imperium Energy for their solar needs, that we decided it was time to finally act. And we are really happy we did!
Shawn responded fast, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He came fully prepared and provided us with an abundance of information. He specced out different options and made calculations in real time so that we knew what to expect energy-wise as well as financially.
The actual appointments for inspection and installation were no hassle. We didn't have to be home, as they were able to do the install conveniently without accessing the inside of our home or backyard. We look forward to seeing our DWP bills going down, but also we can rest assured that we are finally going green!

We had recently purchased a house and had been considering solar since we moved in. We faced south and our roof was clear so decided to make the jump.

We got a number of bids and after a lot of consideration felt most comfortable with Imperium. Their bid seemed to be the most comprehensive and well thought out. Shawn was our sales representative and the one we dealt with the entire time we went through the process. He was very quick with answering questions and figuring out solutions to issues that popped up. Even answering texts while on vacation.

The install unfortunately took longer then what was quoted, do to a back log at the county and power company. Once the OK was given they started the next day, Thanksgiving. we were shocked to see them show and do the install on a holiday. The work was completed on schedule after that and we recently received PTO from the power company, permissions to operate. We have only been using for a week now but have produced more power then we have used every day.

We are very pleased with the entire process and can't recommend them enough. From meeting us at odd hours due to our work schedules, installing on a holiday, and prompt answering of all questions we can think of no negatives.
