Company Overview
We are a family-run roofing company. Established in 1962, we are among the longest-standing roofing businesses in Polk County, having become incorporated in 1991. We emphasize trustworthiness and craftsmanship, ensuring we complete every job properly the initial attempt, and we guarantee our services.
John Harp, the father of six, started this business in 1962. Upon his death in '91, he entrusted the company to his eldest son, Donnie Harp, who later registered the firm and welcomed his younger brother, Kenny Harp, as Vice President. Their mother, Dee Harp, serves as Treasurer and Secretary, as well as the manager of office operations. As a team, they have maintained his heritage of superior workmanship. To keep the business in the family, Kenny's wife, Pamela, was brought in as an Administrative Assistant, assisting Dee with everyday office operations.
Our lives have been devoted nearly our complete lives in the roofing. Donald was just when his father launched this firm. Kenny was born the following year. Upon our father’s death, we formalized the company and remain as a family-owned firm. Our love for our heritage and the business our father built.

Diana B.I called IR to get an estimate on replacing my roof. I was very happy with the estimate, but it took a little longer than I expected for the work to be started. I had accepted the estimated price, but when the job was done due to damage that was found the price was approximately $1,000 more than the estimate. I paid the estimated price and $250 more at the time I received the invoice. I called the office and explained that I would make the remaining payments as soon as possible. At first, the lady in the office was very kind and understanding. Then, the phone calls from the owner began threatening me that if I didn't pay a lien would be put on my property. Then, the next month, I was billed a 15% late fee on the remaining $754 which was over $110!! Really!! When I called and asked for an explanation, I was told that was how it was and hung up on. No mention was made in our contract about this late fee. I understand a reasonable late fee, but this fee is not reasonable...it is usury which is illegal!!!!! While the roofing work was good, their business dealings are not as expected and I could not recommend them to anyone. I'm very sorry to have had this encounter with them.
