I called IR to get an estimate on replacing my roof. I was very happy with the estimate, but it took a little longer than I expected for the work to be started. I had accepted the estimated price, but when the job was done due to damage that was found the price was approximately $1,000 more than the estimate. I paid the estimated price and $250 more at the time I received the invoice. I called the office and explained that I would make the remaining payments as soon as possible. At first, the lady in the office was very kind and understanding. Then, the phone calls from the owner began threatening me that if I didn't pay a lien would be put on my property. Then, the next month, I was billed a 15% late fee on the remaining $754 which was over $110!! Really!! When I called and asked for an explanation, I was told that was how it was and hung up on. No mention was made in our contract about this late fee. I understand a reasonable late fee, but this fee is not reasonable...it is usury which is illegal!!!!! While the roofing work was good, their business dealings are not as expected and I could not recommend them to anyone. I'm very sorry to have had this encounter with them.
