In 1968, Ron Estep's father, Jimmie, started the business. While living in San Diego, California, the family relocated to Florida during Ron's high school years, taking Imperial Roofing Contractor with them. Ron gained valuable experience in the roofing sector by working alongside his father. Despite earning a geology degree from the University of South Florida, Ron chose to stay in the roofing field. Chris, Ronnie Jr., and Jason, Ron's three sons, began their roofing careers early and currently oversee the company with him.
