I do not recommend Ideal roofing. They boast about their BBB rating but don't deal honestly with customers. In our case, the owner acted as if he cared about our complaints, but sided with his employee who had lied to us on several occasions. Our roof still leaks! Previously, I gave the company five stars for work after Harvey. Our roofer, Cody Green, impressed us! He diagnosed our leak and repaired it. However, we learned he left the company when we called a year later for help with a new leak. The roofer assigned to us lied on several occasions and the owner backed him up.

I had 1 repair man came to fixed my worn out seams on roof couple years ago, he replaced new roof vent and some seams, charged me big time for $650, after he left, I go up to attic and found several holes from nails removed, if rain come water will leak tru them and give me a mess on my insulation and ceiling. I called back company, they sent same guy to fix those exposed holes with a lot of poundings from his hammer on my roof I can hear, after he fixed he question me why I did not call direct to him instead of his company, I considered this is a bad repair rep want to hide his mistake. the reason I said they over charged me because my neighbor next door had same repair like me with 3 men done more jobs replaced more vents on his roof with much lower price in ratio, and no recall like this company.This is the company Tom Tynan ( Radio host shows ) recommended . Lesson learned, no more business with this company.

I requested an estimate to repair a leaking roof in the back of the house after Hurricane Harvey. They came out on 9/2/17 to inspect the roof. I told them that there was also a small leak on the front of the house. They repaired the area with 2 small dabs of roof caulk on top of 2 nails. They did not replace the affected single shingle or even state that they would come back and replace the shingle. Just 2 dabs of caulk. For this, Ideal Roofing charged me $250.00. In my opinion, I believe this to be price gauging after a storm. I have talked to several other roofing companies who have told me that they would not have charged me for this situation. One company even told me that they tarpped a house for no charge. To date, 12 days later, I have not received an estimate. Buyer beware!

After Memorial Day flooding in 2015 they replaced the flashing around my chimney due to a leak. It leaked even worse afterwards. They came back out and I followed him up on the roof and he just put as much black sealing compound around and into the flashing as he could and topped it off with some clear stuff. That was all he was willing to do (why didn't they just fix it like this to begin with if that is proper?). I even went into the attic afterwards and you could see the fresh black sealant coming through, it touched it to be sure. Called Tom Tynan show (Ideal roofing was a sponsor) and spoke to a rep there to complain. He was sarcastic and could have cared less. He said he was friends with owner of Ideal roofing and he was just a great guy. He said he would tell owner of Ideal roofing to EXPECT MY CALL. Wow, so full of themselves. I don't know if Tom Tynan still recommends Ideal roofing or is even still on the air, I quit listening to his show after that. Now with Harvey it's leaking just as bad as it was before they squirted all the sealant in there. Have removed 4 gallons of water so far. Don't want this to happen to you.

BEWARE!!!!!! I don't know how this company has any high ratings at all. It was a terrible experience for us. The job was a terrible job...not done well at all. We repeatedly sent pictures, texts, emails, made phone calls, etc to try to get our rep to our house to help and he would never come. The job they did was not complete...we were supposed to get new gutters as well (per our insurance) and that was never done, yet again, we cannot get anyone to respond. The invoice they sent was completely incorrect. It included our insurance price that included gutters, yet we never received our gutters. When we asked for a correction deleting the gutters, we never got a response until we received an attorney letter demanding we pay the full amount. This company is unbelievable! Very dishonest and shady. We have reported them to USAA (our insurance company) as being poor quality and beyond difficult to work with. We are still trying to work this all out over a year later. I would encourage anyone to NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The customer service is beyond terrible, the quality of work is awful and I don't believe them to be honest or trustworthy. I so wish we could go back and select another company and never have to deal with them!

I couldn't be happier with the experience with this company. They came out right away for the estimate, met my insurance adjuster. Minimal effort on my part. Friendly crew and very efficient, very clean. Roof looks great. Highly recommend.

After meeting with several roofing companies from Best Picks, I went with Ideal. David spent a lot of time explaining the process of installing the new roof and answering my numerous questions. Very knowledgeable, honest and professional. The job was clean and I am very pleased. Will refer to friends and neighbors.

In the past, I have used Ideal Roofing in the past for repairs, and they have always done a great job. I recently had them do a new roof and am very pleased. Very knowledgeable and honest. I originally found them through GAF. I have referred a few friends, and they have also been very happy.

I Have to agree with several of the other reviews. I was not impressed. Like others I looked at a couple of Service Guides which had good ratings of Ideal so went with them after a hail storm damaged our roof. Like others the rep initially was very attentive but a lot of red flags, Didn't get up on the roof, didn't give a detailed quote just assured us that everything the adjuster indicated would be done. After they had the signed order it was hard to get any return calls. Still needed the roof done so went ahead with them. They got the roof done but didn't replace the exhaust vents which were detailed in our insurance adjusters quote and after the fact told us they didn't do those nor did they do a small metal hip roof, also in the adjusters estimate. but they didn't reduce the bill either. Several other issues such as damage to some fascia which took repeated calls to get fixed poor clean up and finally the rep never even came to check the roof or final job. He never once was on the roof to inspect or check the final work. Think there are several more professional companies in the area so wouldn't go with Ideal ever again.

I just had my roof replaced by Ideal Roofing. My experience with them so far has been great. Eric came out and took the time to explain the process of how it would work with my insurance company. He always called or text back with any questions I had. They do more than just roofs also. Not only did they replace my roof they replaced some hardy plank, painted my patio and replaced a few lights.
