Short Review:
Israel and his team were truly remarkable. If you are looking for a cost effective, professional, communicative, tidy, and considerate roofing crew to work with, I highly recommend IB Roofing.

Long Review:
I had been trying for several months to get a contractor to partially dismantle our chimney to below the roofline, and then to patch the resulting hole in our roof. The chimney is in the center of our house, not alongside an exterior wall or anything more complicated like that. At least 3 contractors overengineered/overcomplicated the job claiming we needed all kinds of scaffolding and multiple contractors (one to dismantle the chimney, and another to patch the hole, etc.) which was really baffling. So I was about to attempt to dismantle the chimney myself (wife was not excited about that possibility, and she's 100% right it's beyond my limited skillset) and began looking for a roofing company to patch the hole I would make trying to remove the chimney.

I messaged IB Roofing about patching such a hole (yet to be created) and within 1 day got a response from Israel about taking a look at the roof. During his visit, he spent a few minutes looking at the roofline, and I decided to ask him in that moment, ""I know I only asked you here to look at patching a hole in our roof, but would you at all be able to partially demo that part of the chimney to below the roofline as well, and patch the hole?"" He said yes, and provided a simple, broken out quote for both parts of the job. I was floored by how affordable his bid was.

A date was set, and I was pleased to see his crew show up when he said they would, and they got right to work. They set up simple, effective, and safe points around the roof to dismantle the chimney to below the roofline, and patched it beautifully. It took them a grand total of 4 hours to get the job done. I am amazed, and would absolutely encourage any/all of you reading this review to reach out to IB Roofing with your roofing needs since his team is very capable! Thank you Israel.

This review is long overdue but I wanted to ensure my roof could withstand a couple of wet winters.

I dealt with a leaking roof for 5 years before I finally decided to replace it. I could not be any more pleased with Israel and his crew. They did a fantastic job. My roof has a steep pitch but that was no issue for them. Israel also added a pitch on a flat section of my roof to prevent any water from pooling up.

The cost was really fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend.

Isreal and his crew helped us replace our flat roof last spring. The picture is one year after their wonderful work ( also after one very rainy winter). The whole process working with Isreal was very smooth and enjoyable. He gave us a quick and reasonable quote, suggested us various options of our roof. His communication is clear and his crew showed up on time. The new roof was replaced only whithin 3 days. In the past three years, I have worked with four contractors for the house related work. First time in forty years I've had my roof fixed rithe first time. The re-roofing was done on time, as planned. Israel sent photos of parts needing repair or replacement on the roof as he went along. Job was done quickly, with a real cleanup every evening, and a final cleanup that didn't require any more work on my part. It's been a rainy winter, but no roof worries for me.

We had solar panels installed several years ago and then all of a sudden had a leak that caused the drywall ceiling in our utility closet to collapse. It turns out the leak was not caused by the solar panels but caused by some badly installed flashing near a chimney.

We had more than half-dozen roofers visit our home to try to diagnose the problem and provide estimates to repair. Most roofers either said we had to replace our entire roof or refused to repair the work because it was not a large enough job.

IB Roofing provided the only trustworthy analysis. They told us the problem, provided a fair quote to repair and gave an honest opinion about the ""health"" of our roof and when it likely would need to be replaced.
