They were quick, on time, every day. They always cleaned up the area on a daily basis and let me know when they were leaving for the day. I have owned rental property in the past and have a fair amount of experience with roofers and contractors. I couldn't be happier. Even the city inspector had a good comment about the roof and the quality.

My initial call to Hoyt was back in April/May and the initial office person who took my call was very... dismissive. Didn't hear back from Hoyt for about two weeks and when we finally connected, what had originally been a possible roof maintenance call, ended up turning into a full reroofing project for us. The reason I decided to stay with Hoyt and not go with the competition was thanks to Dave. Friendly, and kind, Dave answered the million questions I had, and stopped by daily when the roofing project started until finish. Definitely felt like Hoyt took care of their customers. Although Hoyt's estimate was quite a bit higher than the competition, I went with them due to their years of experience and the fact that they didn't use any subcontractors. Shout out to Poli and Isaac for taking care of our roofing install. Really felt like they went above and beyond to make sure our roof is solid. Hoping to be able to enjoy it for years to come.

I don't recommend this roofing company for a number of reasons.
The customer service is terrible. They're all about getting you to sign the contract and then you get buried in their system. It took 9 months for them to start my home's roof replacement, from the day I signed their contract, the year before.
And the contract had issues also, with lots of opportunities for Hoyt to change it after the roof is removed, which they took advantage of. Then after 9 months they called me to leave a message on a Friday evening that they were scheduled to come out Monday morning to start. I was on vacation in another state and had to try and re-schedule them over the weekend via answer machines. Very upsetting!
Part of the work involved sloping my roof properly to drain and they charged me an additional $5,000+ to do that. But it puddled in two areas after the first light rain and didn't drain properly. It took another month to try and get it remedied, but they said they couldn't correct it. So I gave up and settled for a warranty extension that won't ever get honored because they'll be gone in 15 years, or at least the guys who promised the warranty will be gone. They were the worst subcontractors I dealt with during my seven month long remodel.
And I was a contractor for 30 years and they rank in my top 3 of being the worst company to deal with.
I do not leave reviews very often, maybe once every couple years, but I felt it necessary to let others know what they're getting into, based on my experience with Hoyt Roofing.

Hoyt Roofs did an excellent job replacing our roof. They exceeded our expectations at every turn. Not only is the final product beautiful and of the highest quality, their customer service eliminates the usual stress associated with home repairs and improvements.

I had my roof replaced by Hoyt some years ago. Everything was great when they get the new roof installed but what they fail to tell you, they use caulking around vents instead of a permanent seal and after some years, that caulking gets dry and brittle and then it starts leaking under your roof. Thats my problem and now I have some wood rot from the leaks. It took years for that to happen and now its past the 10 year installation warranty. I called and told them about it and they said it will probably cost $1000's to have it repaired, depending how big the rotted area is. With attitude, they told me I should have had a calking repair job done sometime earlier, but nothing said about that when the roof was installed. They told me they have around 4000 repair jobs every year, its probably not all Hoyt jobs but that is still a lot of repair. My opinion is, this is their long range down the road plan to make your roof leak and get more repair jobs. Not too happy, all these 5 star reviews mean nothing when you start having problems

Hoyt Roofs did excellent job. Reasonable price for the job size. I have solar panels and they were able to remove and reinstall. Very pleased with job. Too quality work. A+.
