No doubt, Bill and Risë are fantastic at what they do. My solar panel system installation process took around 1-2 months (already fast in comparison to what other companies estimated), and half of that time was me figuring out what I wanted to do!

Bill came out in person for an initial on-site assessment of the roof, shading, sizing estimate, etc. He was very open and honest with his advice and feedback. He kept me updated on the solar panels available, so I could choose the ones best suited for my needs.

Bill also found out that our roof needed to be replaced. Essentially, there was no underlying sheathing that could support the weight of the panels. It was a big shock for me, but he helped me through this process as well. He was able to get a local roofing company to replace the roof in just a few days!

After that, it only took him a few more days to get the solar panels installed on our roof. He does all of the work himself. From there, Risë worked incredibly quickly with the utility company to get PTO. Once I made my decision to proceed with the installation, the entire process took only a couple weeks.

They only work locally, so all their attention is focused on you. I would highly recommend Howe builders for your solar.

I have never dealt with a company that was more meticulous and responsible. Mr. Howe oversaw every detail of the solar installation from beginning to end. He handled every bit of paperwork, and recommended both an electrician and a roofer and checked their work and made sure I was not overcharged. I would 100% recommend Howe Builders for your solar needs. I was concerned about hiring a large company which would be impersonal and unfamiliar with our neighborhood. I made the right choice.

I initially called Howe Builders concerning my existing solar panels. I spoke to Rise who was very helpful over the phone and I set an appointment for Bill to come out and take a look to see if he could find anything wrong. Bill showed up promptly and tried to see if he could see anything that was causing my panels not to be working correctly. He went up on the roof and to my surprise, he discovered a family of raccoons that were nesting under the panels. He offered to wash them but my hose wasn't long enough and he didn't bring his hose with him. He ran some tests and everything looked OK. Unfortunately, he doesn't deal with my type of inverter, but he gave me good suggestion on what my next steps should be. I would highly recommend Howe Builders if you need solar panels installed.

Howe Builders are great! We had a previous solar system that wasn't working as well as it should and Bill came over and evaluated our situation and worked with the old system panels provider to get ours upgraded at a great price. Note: The original installer went out of business as many of early ones have so we were left to fend for ourselves! Bill and his staff took care of everything. All we had to do was turn the lights on and watch the meter spin backwards! We would highly recommend Howe builders, as a matter of fact we already have to several of our friends and neighbors. Give them a call - you won't be disappointed !

Bill Howe installed solar panels about 2 years ago in Rancho Palos Verdes. He analyzed our power usage from Edison to determine the correct number of panels. He installed all of the panels and associated components quickly and efficiently. He also has cleaned the panels several times since installation at no charge. I highly recommend Howe Builders.
