I was trying to set up service with them. They never called us back kept canceling .

5-star service...Howard & Sons, Dustin and the crew are excellent. I had them come out to give a quote for roof repair, tile repair and gutter cleaning. They were prompt, reasonably priced and professional. They communicated well and scheduled us quickly. On the day of service they showed up early, worked hard, resolved challenges and stayed in constant communication as the work progressed. They delivered it all effectively, with a friendly hard working crew and provided services on budget. Throughout the process they were communicative and helpful, and provided an offer for work that was less than competitors, and they delivered! I would recommend Dustin and Howard & Sons to anyone, without hesitation.

Our tile roof is over 30 years old and started to leak and show wear and tear. Howard&sons was certainly the best choice in fixing the problem and providing us with great results. They were highly professional, showed great workmanship and prices were very reasonable. We would definitely refer them to our friends and family. Thank u Howard and Sons for the fantastic job you did!

From the Alpha Demolition crew to Cesar, manager & Miguel, Forman & all the roofers who put our new roof on, we say a big thank you. You men all did a great job. You protected our driveway, plants around the house & cleaned up well. We're very happy with our new roof & the response back from Cesar when I called or texted him with questions.
Howard & Sons, Inc is a great company to work with. Amanda & Giovanni were always available for phone calls & help when we needed.
We definitely recommend this company.

Howard & Sons put on a new roof for us and I was very happy with their services. Quality was excellent. They were prompt and finished the job on time. The crews attitude was superb and I highly recommend them. And the sales guy was very knowledgeable and gave me a very nice price.

Howard & Sons has done 2 projects for us. They were done very professionally and in a timely manner. Their teams are great to work with -the office team and the field team. I would recommend them to everyone who needs roofing / gutter work done.

Overall bad experience I do not recommend them . Had a list of issues due to lack of supervision . They did come to fix the issues afterwards, but it shouldn't of had any to begin with if the job was done right the first time .

Overall bad experience with Howard & Sons. On one end the sales rep was very informative and took his time explaining the process. The proposal process was professional. Considering the lowest biding company sent me a 3 paragraph email I appreciated H&S' documents. However, web reviews ultimately ended up being the reason I went with this company.
Unfortunately I did not have the same experience with the crew that people from other posts had. for one I never meet one member of the working crew that i was able to communicate with that stood out as the supervisor. This was frustrating considering the job moved fast enough that to fix issues as they came along we had to take steps backwards. One might ask why where there issues? Are they driven from top down or from lack of supervision? short answer I am not sure; however, several issues popped up along the way like rotted fascia board that was not replaced and was not fixed until after drip edge and tile where already installed over it. I experienced another issue when I went up on the roof to check the progress, after the crew left, and noticed that the tile overlay did not cover the nails/nail holes from the tile below it (see picture below). After some research I found this was a code violation which requires a 3 inch over lay on tiles which this is far short of. I sent a text message to one of the owners sons, so the following day the crew came back out and fixed the overlay issue, but did not replace the underlayment, so now I am worried that there may be 100s of nail holes in my underlayment. The owners son talked to the crew and assured me that there are not 100s of holes.
I am not a roofer and I don't want to be that is why I hired a roofing specialist, but if as a non roofer I was able to catch these issues how many did I miss? So now I have no idea if I am going to be swimming in my living room this winter or not. I guess time will tell. ugh
note: I only gave them a high star rating because I know companies can pay to hide the low star ratings.

Very professional and friendly staff. Great experience and Communication from start to finish.
Would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Absolutely the worst company so far. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. They came out Tuesday to tear the roof off. Left without communication. I let my dogs out and they came back in an hour later. Good thing as the crew returned just after. They left later approximately 3:30pm again without a word. Get a text that night that they will return the next day between 7:30 and 8:30 to do just the sheathing because an inspector has to sign off before they can do the shingles. Wednesday at 8:30 I get a call saying they forgot about our job and there are no crews available. Will have to take ANOTHER day of sitting around and waiting. That's even IF they can get an inspector to sign off on it. Funny thing is the salesman said a day for this job. Rep from the company corrected him adding that because of the tear off it'll be a day and a half maybe 2. Person that called this morning said the inspector only does it one day a week. Just horrible. If there was another company available I'd take them in a heartbeat over this one.
Have to update - got a call from the owner and am under the impression that everything is a go tomorrow (Thursday) including actually starting the shingles. Inspector is scheduled to be here during the day after they install the underlayment. Just a word - I would never include an inspector on any review as we all know they work their own schedule. Will see how it goes....Thank you
