Cannot speak to their roofing work, but do NOT recommend for general contracting work. We paid Blake (Project manager) and his team $6,000 to install drains in our backyard. When the drains were completed, they were above the dirt level making it impossible for water to reach the drain. Blake and his team told us that there is nothing that they could do to lower the drains because of the angling of the outlet. A few months later, we hired another professional to fix their work and they were able to lower the drains to the appropriate level without a problem. We informed Houston Roofing & Construction and received no refund - they offered a credit for future work, but we did not need their services anymore.

Before selecting Houston Roofing & Construction, I got two other bids from reputable roofing companies. All three bids were within $1,000 of each other. My decision to go with Houston Roofing & Construction was based on the presentation of material (i.e. certificate of insurance) and my conversations with Robert Morgan (Project Manager) about the scope of work. Very pleased with how the project was managed with Robert keeping me informed every step of the way. Very pleased with the results!

I had a bullet come through my home but we could not locate where it came in at. We called Houston Roofing & Construction to come out and check the roof to see if the entry point was there. Upon arriving Mr. Krejci handed me his card and asked could he come in. He began in the house. He checked a few rooms, the attic and then moved outside. We found the bullet entry point on the siding of the house. Although no repairs are needed to the roof I wanted to do this review to show appreciation to the company for being on time, reliable, and assisting us find the entry point. Mr. Krejci was friendly and professional. This company also offers free estimates which is a plus for anyone unsure of damages or costs.

I just recently bought my first home and wanted to get an inspection for our roof. Ryan came out to inspect the roof and explained everything that needed repairs, either as soon as possible or in the near future. He answered every question I had and I felt assured that I had chosen a great company to work with! A few days later, the repairs were made quickly and look great. I will definitely be using them in the future and will recommend them to anyone! They event sent an adorable ""thank you"" package! The level of service is the best I've experienced.

HRC replaced our roof after Hurricane Harvey in the fall of 2017. I was actually pleased with the work and the appearance of our new roof. It looks quite nice. However, there was other work to be done that was authorized by my insurance company, including replacing a screen cover on the pergola over my patio. After an understandable waiting period to get the material, the screen was replaced. However, a couple of months later, after we moved back into our house, we noticed that while the screen had been replaced, the workers had walked on the hollow aluminum structure, crimping beams and damaging the structure. I made them first aware of this in January 2018. From January to July I made 10 phone calls to try to resolve the problem. Finally in August, I made contact with the owner. In September and October, I was told they were still looking for materials (now one year since the job was finished). In May 2019, I sent another email which has still not been answered. If the materials can't be found, then it would have been nice to at least have received some compensation as I will have to replace the pergola; instead, I continue to be left in the dark with no resolution. I think the thing that has frustrated me the most is that while the roof was being replaced I got constant phone calls and texts to make arrangements to meet to get the insurance check to them as soon as possible. I even drove out 30 miles one time to meet their representative to try to help accommodate them. It would have been nice if their concern for correcting the problems they created, and communicating with me about them, would have shared the same level of intensity and promptness as their desire for getting their money.

I was thoroughly impressed by this company. Dustin met me, went over all aspects of my roofing needs and had his team install my roof a week later. The roofing crew was very clean and professional. I would definitely recommend this roofing company. Dustin also gave me fantastic customer service. My whole experience with Houston Roofing and Construction was a very positive one.

Houston Roofing and Construction put a new roof on my house,
DO NOT have them use a company to put up your gutters. The gutter company put up gutters over rotten woods. My painter pointed it out to me.
Now Houston Roofing insist I have to pay for the gutters to be taken down and put back up so the rotten wood can be replaced. WOW!
They would not give me the name of the gutter company so I could deal with them directly.
I have already given them almost $20,000. A very important lesson to learn. Never mix 2 contracts together!

I used them because they did a great job at my neighbors house and all reviews were positive. My roof looks great and Justin, our rep was very professional and easy to communicate with. He keeps you informed and communicated the process. It only took a total of 2 days including clean up to replace the roof. Everyone in the company is very nice and I've since recommended them to others and my neighbor app website. We had a small hiccup and Justin worked to fix the problem through no fault of his and wanted to make sure we were happy, he is first class. I definitely recommend them
For your roofing needs and they do other construction as well.

We spent $20,000 on a new roof of premium shingles 4 years ago. Houston Roofing improperly nailed the shingles and the nails are rusting. We've had the roof repaired 4 times. They repaired the roof the first time. However they wouldn't return our call after that. Do not use this company.
