So we bought a new house in June. The first big rain we had a few weeks ago and, of course, the roof leaked - on a Friday...

My wife posted (I'm not sure where, maybe Facebook?) and 2 companies responded pretty quickly. The first company came out and looked at it and suggested a course of action, then Jeff from Houser came out and suggested a different course (more thorough and more expensive). He walked me through his thinking and what he recommended made more sense. He was professional and courteous (and didn't mind questions).

On Tuesday, his crew came out and performed what was a reasonably extensive repair quickly and expertly. It turns out the repair the first company recommended would not have actually solved the problem (turns out there were leaks originating from multiple locations).

We've had several big rains since, and the problem is, indeed solved. Kudos to Jeff and crew - job well done!

We purchased a new house and the inspection noted the roof was in poor repair. Jeff Kent gave us a detailed and thorough inspection and provided the best quote for a replacement roof. Additionally he provided great recommendations to improve air circulation in the attic while also providing better aesthetics with the installation of a solar vent fan. Work was scheduled promptly and completed in 2 days. All hand nailed as advertised and the team was there promptly at 7am each day. Now we have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Jeff Kent worked with me from the beginning all the way to the end of my entire roof shingle replacement project. He thoroughly explained and advised me about insurance claims, roof material, and the installation procedure. I've fact checked everything Jeff has told me and it is all true information. He's honest and works tirelessly to make customers happy. I've always received quick responses from him and he delivered on everything he promised. Jeff made this project run very smoothly.

Houser Roofing delivered all high quality roofing material that they recommended to me. The installers worked very efficiently and meticulously to install a durable leak free shingle roof. These are very skilled workers who would only hand nail all of my new shingles to assure that the nails are coming into my decking at the right depth. Their Certainteed Select Shingle Master certification assures you that they are well trained installers. The installers kept the work area tidy from debris. Before they left, all old roofing material, nails, or any waste were picked up and disposed from my property just the way my house was before the started the project. This project was completed within one day over the course of 12 hours.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with Houser Roofing. You will not find another roofing contractor who works this hard for you. They answer you at any time or day. Their craftmanship is high quality. All of my neighbors who hired Houser in the Cinco Ranch West community haven't had any leaks. I have full confidence in Houser when I refer them to my friends and family.

Highly recommend Houser Roofing! Jeff Kent was the Roof Specialist for our job and he was very knowledgeable, professional and precise in his job. We had hail damage and he was patient and helpful in our dealings with our insurance company. He was there to meet with our insurance inspector both times when they had to come out for inspection. He takes great care of his customers.
The Project Manager over the roofers was also helpful and completed the job in a timely manner. Not one issue from beginning to end!
The roofers cleaned the yard of debris, nothing left behind. Jeff and his crew were on time and he was there to watch every step of the way, which was very reassuring.
We are happy with our new roof, it looks great and we will continue to use them for any future issues if they arise.

Jeff Kent sold us our roof. He showed up on time and informed. He was respectful and took the time to explain all our options and answer our endless questions. They replaced roof and gutters. It looks beautiful. We are very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

This review is only for the sales and installation of a residential roof.

I met the owner Dustin one day early summer 2013 when he was working in my neighborhood replacing roofs a couple of blocks from my house. There was a hail storm passed through Houston in April 2013 and damaged roofs in my area. He offered to check my roof for the hail damages for free and I agreed. He spent about 15 minutes on my roof inspecting everything and told me that there were obvious hail damages to my roof. I filed a home owners insurance claim based on that assessment. The insurance adjuster came and reached the same conclusion.

I hired Dustin to replace the roof. He was very patient and went over the contract with me in detail. The pricing was spot on with the insurance payout. He was flexible and accommodating when it came to scheduling the work. He was always prompt to answering texts, phone calls and emails. The day before the work, all the materials arrived and neatly stacked on the side of the driveway. The day of the work, his crew arrived early and immediately got to work. After the work was done, they cleaned up the yard nicely and left me with a new roof.

The house was sold shortly after the roof was replaced. I cannot provide information on the condition of it now. However, the roof passed the home inspection during the sale of the house with flying colors.

Overall, working with Dustin was absolutely easy and pleasant. He is knowledgeable about the roof and very sincere on doing a good job. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone.
