Went to their office in Palm Bay. The people in the office were very nice and scheduled 2 next day appointments for an aluminum carport quote on my residence and a new roof on one of my rental properties. The next day Alan called me and said he was on my road and could not find my address even though my address is clearly marked on my mailbox. I asked if he had a GPS or if maybe I needed to meet up with him somewhere. He hung up on me. I looked outside and saw his fancy Big Black Hough Roofing truck across the street. I waived at him. He flew down my road and left. I called him back he said he was not interested in the business and hung up on me a second time. I then called the main office. A lady answered the phone, I explained to her what happened, she said she would call me back. She never did. I went to my rental property to see if Alan showed up there for our second appointment. He did not. I let my tenant know and apologized for the inconvenience.

I looked up Hough Roofing reviews and found the owner Alan did nearly the same thing to another guy on Yelp named Doug. So my experience was not a coincidence. This Alan guy has issues. If he makes very little effort to keep an appointment then its questionable about the quality of work he would provide. I would definitely not waste my time scheduling anything with this company.

I do not recommend Hough Brothers. Previously, I had them replace gutters at my house and reroof a rental. Their work seems good enough. But they have always been very difficult to arrange......AND KEEP appointments with. I waited two weeks for Alan Hough and he missed the appointment. When I tried to rearrange another one he became annoyed and said he would not be interested in doing business. I glad I won't have to deal with them anymore, just put out that he wasted my time.

I do NOT recommend Hough Brothers in Palm Bay. They are difficult to contact and schedule with. Alan was unfriendly and cancelled an estimate appointment after missing the one we had set up. I'm glad I do not have to rely on them for work if it's that hard to just get them to show up.
