I was pleased with the outstanding services provided by Horizon. Jason and Alvie were extremely professional and kind during every step of the process of installing my new roof.
I highly recommended them to my neighbors and friends.

cause damaged to my floor and they were not responsible for it. this is general manager emailed me.
Mr. Nguyen
I am aware of the concern of your home and of your opinion or diagnosis of the water intrusion. I disagree with what you feel is causing the damage on interior wall as does the installer of the roof. Also, no warranty exist as the property has sold but this is not a warranty issue.
First the area identified prior has leaked for an extended period and or from the time the home was built. The walls and flooring would not be damaged in such a fashion if sudden or accidental.
The water is coming in from the wall the stone is on. The water is coming in from the end of the gutter edge into the stone wall and leaking in behind. This is a building defect. The water is coming out below the gutter as well or under soffit and rock under gutter has water staining again showing this is not something that just happened it's been happening.
The way to fix this is to take the rock off, ice and water shield the wall, put flashing under rock, put the rock back, mortar the wall, water seal the wall. The gutter line cut short, kick out placed at end of wall. Also, I cannot tell if gutter end is open or closed into the wall.
The previous homeowner further knows the area was an issue. We advised that we could attempt to put flashing along the outside of wall / stone to help alleviate water flow along the rock and caulk it, but surface is uneven. In addition, we put ice and water shield on the edge of roof line, stone, and decking. As mentioned, it's the design of rock, gutter, mortar gaps in rock not your roof.
This is a common occurrence/ building design. We get this issue over and over from homeowners and as I referenced above that is the fix and only fix as a permanent fix.
I was also advised the home sold as there is no warranty and our labor warranty would not cover this. Also, the shingle warranty does not cover this either. Lastly , upon review of the insurance claim on the roof the carrier did not pay for any reflashing of stone, the flashing that was installed was a courtesy measure as referenced and not charged to the previous customer or owner.
At this time, I can appreciate the issue you're experiencing but this is not a result of our workmanship. Nor will any additional inspections occur on our behalf as we consider this matter closed.

My friend purchased a house from a seller who used Horizon Roofing in June, 2022. Horizon Roofing installed a new roof the day before the home inspection so of course there was no water damage noted. Upon moving into the house (and after a lot of rain), water began leaking from a lack of flashing and this resulted in significant water damage to the floors and wall; this occurred within weeks moving into the home. The roofers came out and agreed to fix the interior of the home and the roof; upon fixing the roof, the roofer then refused to fix the damages inside the home. Even worse, the general manager of the roofing company tried to place the blame on the house being defective when the inspection showed no problems with water or defects of the home. My friend has had contractors come out to the house and everything points to problems with the roof not being properly installed the first time. My friend has consulted with attorneys only to be told it will cost him more to fight this than to pay for the fixes himself. I will not be using this company and cannot recommend it to anyone else.

They installed my roof several years ago and I was very pleased with them. now several years later I have developed a leak (I don't blame them for this it happens) I contacted them multiple times to make the repair, and finally got someone out. They determined my turtle vents were the source and made a repair. A few days later rain came and the roof is still leaking and it is now a worse leak. I have contacted them many times over the last week and I have not gotten a response yet. I am not upset that it was fixed the first time, I just want to get it fixed and they aren't being responsive.

Tiffany was very professional. Met personally with me at my home. Kept me informed. Her crew showed up on the promised date and completed the job as promised. Nothing but good to say about my service.

I have been working in the sales department for this company for 3 years now. It's definitely one of the best places to have a career at. The owner is a man of integrity and is always willing to give someone an opportunity and show them how life is supposed to be. I have sold hundreds upon hundreds of roofs for them and if there is ever any issue, we fix it. I hope this review helps someone lean towards Horizon and give us the opportunity to earn your business.

Horrible company! As some of the other reviewers said, I would prefer to give them no stars. Everything was wonderful before they got our payment. After that they were completely neglectful. For a long time after the roof was finished, we had to fix or replace tires several times because of the number of nails that fell close to the garage. Shortly after that the leaks in my bedroom started. After several attempts (no answer) to contact them, they sent a guy who was clearly unprofessional. He showed up at my house with his wife and kids, spent a very short time on the roof and said he had made the repairs. Soon after that the leaks started again. Many unanswered phone calls and e-mails. Today I finally got a call back from someone who gave me another number to call. Let's see if they are going to do something decent this time.

One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life!!! I was referred by a neighbor about a leak in my bedroom ceiling and a gentleman came out to my house to inspect my roof... He informed me I had storm damage and could possibly get my roof replaced through my insurance company. I had planned on paying out-of-pocket so my curiosities were intrigued. I have never filed a homeowners claim so I didn't know how the process worked but he sat down with me in my kitchen and called the insurance company with me and walked me through the process. He then met the insurance adjuster at my house and Confirmed the damage with him, and my roof was replaced through the insurance company! Very informative!!!
Thanks Drew for all your help :)

They did a great job and were quick.

I would prefer to not give them any stars. We have defective shingles and there's a claim process with the shingles manufacturer to get a sum of money for replacement. I called Horizon because I had a flyer on these shingles and thought they had experience with it. In the first call a couple months ago, the representative rambled on about insurance companies and how awful MY insurance company must be that they did not pay for it already (we had tried). Well, no insurance company is going to pay to replace a defective product. Anyway - I told him I appreciated his commentary on insurance companies, but that I needed help filing a claim with the shingle manufacturer. He indicated that there was ""no way"" I was getting money from the manufacturer - if they paid everyone for this problem, they would be bankrupt.
I know this is not true. I have spoken to people who have been through this process and to roofing companies that have helped homeowners. I told the Horizon rep that I would use someone else who had experience with the claim. He immediately hung up on me.
Fast forward about 2 months. I get a random text message from Drew, identifying himself as being from Horizon Roofing and asking me if I was still having trouble with my roof. (this may or may not be the original guy I spoke to, I don't recall the first guy's name) I responded that I had already gone with a different company and please do not contact me again. What kind of home contractor contacts you via text to try and get your business? The conversation should have ended there, but he responded with ""No need to be short"". Seriously? I don't think text messages are appropriate for contacting customers to solicit business, especially after you hung up on them the first time.
I would NEVER consider this company again.
