First time having a roof installed on a house in Texas. What a learning experience! When you call for estimates make sure you know if you are dealing with an actual roofing contractor or a company that will sub out all the work. I prefer dealing with the person who will be doing all the work. I did a lot of research on how Texas laws are different from other states and knew I had to go with Dennis. Just look at his website and you will get an education on roofing. Dennis uses only the best materials and names that I know and trust. Other companies will quote the work with companies I've never heard of. Their warranties on the labor will also be like 3 years instead of what Dennis will cover. You always want a contractor to communicate with you on everything and keep you informed. This was by far the best experience I've ever had with any contractor of any trade I've ever used. Everyone was professional and respectful. The roof went up in a day and everything was covered and then cleaned up. So if you want a good price, great communication, the right materials and knowing HonestRoof will do their best then it's a no brainer. Nothing but 5 star reviews.

When you looking for honesty and quality on a roof company you have to go with honestroof.com. They are up front and straight on how the process works, quality materials, and dependable workers. They made the process so easy and straight forward. We tried many companies to see how the comparison was. However, those companies were very pushy. This company does not beat around Bush. Gives you honest information and quality work at a reasonable price. I will never go anywhere else.?

We had the best experience with this company. My husband is a commercial property adjuster so he should know. They were very knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and did a great job. The owner stayed on the job while work was being completed and provided pictures of the steps throughout the process. Owner has his own crew, so no subcontractors, which can often result in subpar work. We will be using them for our next roof replacement. They also write their own bids so they don't rely on insurance estimate (such a plus). I would highly recommend them for great, quality work at an honest and fair price.

Wow! It's not often that my expectations are exceeded, but they were with these guys. Dennis, the owner, spent time with me on the phone explaining options. He has a great deal of experience and was very knowledgeable. All the other roofs in my area that were replaced from hale damage recently took a minimum of 3 days. He and his 12 man crew did mine in 1.5 days. And he was here on-site with them. He works up the estimate himself. Since he doesn't use salesmen, he doesn't pay commissions and that saves you money.

They were able to replace our roof earlier than expected which was great and did an excellent job with their full crew. We needed an honest assessment of our roof and possible damage following high winds and intensive rains resulted in a leak in our house. Unfortunately, our insurance would not cover the claim, but we needed the work done anyway. Dennis made a clear and comprehensive assessment of our roof, pointed out the problems and solutions needed and found a very concerning problem with our garden room roof as well. He communicated with us at every step of the process including the unfortunate interference with three weeks of rain. At the first opportunity to do repairs, Dennis and his crew arrived to tackle the two sections of the roof. They were done in about 4 hours from set up to total cleanup.
After witnessing many roofing jobs among family and friends over the last 30-40 years, I can say without reservation that Honest Roof does the best job for the money. Once they had finished and left, I could not tell they had even been there except that my front porch and back deck had been swept and cleared of all debris and leaves. They took extra care to sweep the lawn and sidewalks with their magnet as well.
Dennis went the extra mile to assure the aesthetic of our roof as well. He had to find shingles to match not only the color but also the size of our out of date shingles. I cannot tell where the two meet his due diligence was so perfect. Even the roofing material his crew used over our garden room is match in shade and color if not style as the roof demanded a different product.
Had Dennis not found the problem with our garden roof, taken the time to educate us about the problems, what should have been done initially, the possible problems if not repairs and so on, we would most likely be looking at tens of thousands of dollars in damages in the coming fall or winter, both to the exterior roof and the interior garden room and contents.
Finally, I believe that value is found not just in the cost of materials and labor, but also in peace of mind knowing the job has been well done. Dennis took a few extra moments to make a couple of suggestions for our home to help us avoid future issues.
I will definitely call Honest Roof for my next roofing needs.

If you need a roof Dennis and his crew are top notch started working at sunrise and knocked it out in no time at all. I've watched all my neighbors get roofs but never have seen a crew as fast an as efficient as Dennis's very professional and cleaned up like they were never here. I had three estimates done and Honest Roof was the lowest quote using the same Owens Corning shingles and materials as other companies. They showed up on time, finished on time (Whole roof in about 6 hours), and kept to their quote, despite some unexpected extra work they had to do with no additional or last minute fees. They took photos before during and after the job and kept me informed the whole way thru. I was very pleased with their work and work ethic.

Without question, the absolute best contracting company I have ever worked with!!! I can't say enough great things about Dennis, his crew, and the company he runs! Exceptional customer service and follow-through on all ends. Dennis provides a detailed proposal and will take the time to discuss it without rushing the conversation along and pressuring you into anything. I had another big, local company that I have used on 2 other roof jobs come out and give me a quote on my new house. They were literally twice the price as Honest Roof with actual apples-to-apples product offerings, and Dennis even provided a few extra things that the other company didn't. The other company wouldn't believe me that Dennis's quote was so low with the same high-quality products. When I showed them the quote, the salesman just mumbled under his breath and complained that he didn't know how Dennis made any money. Yes! The price savings with Honest Roof is that substantial. I wish I would have known about them on my last couple of roofing jobs... Beyond price, the entire experience was a true pleasure and the crew was in and out in a few hours. Besides a gorgeous new roof, you couldn't tell that a roofing crew was even on your property after they left. Even my neighbor made a comment on how clean my property looked after a roofing job. Dennis even personally followed up with me the next day just to make sure I was 100% happy with the new roof. Wow!
