Due to the NEM 2.0 deadline fast approaching, I reached out to quite a few more installers than I would typically (10). I wanted to be sure I had an installer I felt comfortable working who could also assure me that they would be able to meet the NEM 2.0 deadline. Tim and his team checked all the boxes and stood out completely from every other installer I had contacted. Tim was responsive from the start, listened to my concerns and tailored a solution that met my current and future needs. I would say more than half of those I contacted failed in this regard, some being very slow to communicate and others being highly inflexible. Tim provided very fair pricing both for the solar install as well as some additional electrical work I had requested. This again was not the case for some installers who came in as high as 40% more. Tim has always been easy to get hold of and his proposal included detail that I did not get from a single other installer. I know all solar installers are extremely busy and this may have impacted the quality of their communication and proposal detail, but Tim made it very easy for me to select his team for my project as he really stood out from all the others.

After getting address and email exchanged they asked my credit score. We have not discussed the project at all, when asked why they need the credits score first, downplayed and the hung up

Currently in progress with Tim's team. I appreciate that they are responsive to phone calls/emails/texts. They are truly trying their hardest!

FYI there is a backlog so we were told we probably can't schedule a site survey until mid-March... really close to the NEM 2.0 change to NEM 3.0.

FYI #2, after the site survey, it takes them ~2 weeks to submit the Application to PG&E (which is the necessary step to get grandfathered into NEM 2.0).

Tim is honest and transparent. There is no funny sales stuff. I interviewed 4 different companies and chose Tim for these reasons. His pricing was also very good. Get solar now if you have not already! Best thing we ever did.

Tim Lunsford and his team were all excellent and always answered my questions promptly. I highly recommend Home Pro Solutions if you are looking for a trustworthy solar installer.

The people alone should tell you a lot about the company. From the time on the phone to the in-person meeting all the way to installation they are the best. There were so many different places I talked to, disappointments, and even a bad credit experience that I am still paying for. HomePro is really great and the folks that installed it were some of the best. Clean and not a bar or wire anywhere unlike the folks from other companies that installed it at the neighbor's house. If you are still on the fence about getting Solar or where to go this is the place and the people you want to deal with.

I personally do not recommend this company. I was contacted via messenger on Facebook from someone I thought was a friend, who works for this company. I gave him all my personal information through Facebook. Tim the owner contacted me and came to my home. Everything seemed great and professional! Then Tim needed to get back to me about our roofing quote. I didn't hear back for weeks from him. Tim called and apologize, he said his roofer might have come out, but he will contact him and get back to me . I called maybe about 3 to 4 weeks after and never heard back. Now this so called ""friend"" Steve, messages me last night on fb about solar, pretending to be concerned about a post I had posted. He immediately asks if I got solar yet, which I just signed with another company (I contacted Homepro 4/26/22). He tells me it's ok if I signed , they can offer me a better deal and make it worth my time, ect. Funny because I gave you my time, my personal information, had Tim in my home, and never got my solar! I told Steve, no the company I'm with worked with me and are on top of everything. I wake up to a message from Steve, saying Tim said I never called best of luck and he BLOCKED me on facebook! Extremely unprofessional!! I'm not going to bother calling Tim, because he seems To busy to get back to a customer who was very interested with his company. If you want a family oriented, non pushy and professional company, this is not the solar company for you. Tim you might want to work on your professionalism, and actually getting back to customers. As for your sales representative, they need some training on working with customers, especially ones that were supposed to be friends.

Had a great time watching these guys work! They had to put up with my mini wrecking yard to install panels on my shop roof. They worked fast and efficient! They inspected the location before hand, showed up to work, and returned later to make sure all the work would pass inspection....never left me hanging during the process. I was so impressed with the way those ""kids"" worked on my shop roof I couldn't stop taking pictures, a real thrill to finally join the solar crowd! lol.
