Disabled Vet on Social Security and a middle school teacher praying we didn't get ripped off. At first glance it looked great until last weekend with 80 mph gusts and lots of rain but no where near a hurricane and what happens my roof leaks from two different areas. View from the inside of the attic shows roof boards not even meeting. Multiple locations of being able to see the tar paper through between boards, brackets missing and nails clearly visible through the shingles and black paper. Literally had drops of water on them from the rain when I first went into attic. I was assured there was no leak there despite me seeing the wet area. We had to pay out of pocket for this roof and they seemed to be reliable but here we are less than one year and leaking roof.

After receiving 2 estimates for a complete reroof, I chose (and wholeheartedly recommend) Holloway Roofing. The rep, Cory Beaird, came to give me an estimate the day after I called. Meghann Stevenson provided me easy-to-understand information, available options, warranty, and pricing. She filed for the permit, and Holloway did not require any money down before starting the project. The work started within 7-10 days of my signing the contract; the project supervisor made himself available and efficiently responded to my requests in a timely manner. The crew was respectful, on time, super hard-working (completing 10-11 hour shifts in July when the temps were in the high 90's, which I am sure made the job grueling) and they cleaned up the yard at the end of each shift. When the project was completed, Holloway covered the cost of a wind mitigation inspection, which I provided to my insurance carrier. Not only was the process painless, the cost of the replacement was $7,000 less than the next lowest estimate. Thankfully, my decision to choose Holloway meant that I didn't experience any of the stress I had envisioned. Give'em a call at 850-678-7663.

Holloway Roofing (Corey) came out to do a skylight inspection for me on some 20 year old skylights. They told me there was nothing wrong, no maintenance or replacement needed. I had been mentally prepared to replace them, so it was a happy surprise to find this honest company. On time, courteous and no charge.

With many people having roof damage from this storm, I feel it is necessary to let you all know *DO NOT USE HOLLOWAY ROOFING* I had the worst experience with them and was treated worse by them than ANY company I have EVER done business with. I paid them $10k up front for my roof replacement in 2018. After 2 months, they finally came out and did the roof in 1 day (but not the chimney cap). The workers left an absolute mess! They left all my patio furniture out in the yard, left their Styrofoam cups from tom thumb all over the porch and yard, someone stuck their chewing gum on my hand rail, and they left shingles and nails EVERYWHERE. All 4 of my lawnmower tires were popped and had to be replaced, I had to repair 3 of my vehicle tires, and I had to pay to repair one of my neighbor's tires. A week (at least) after they put my roof on, they came out to put the chimney cap on. When I got home, my chimney was a different color than the rest of my house, which I assumed they were still planning on finishing, but apparently not. I got a bill for $650 in the mail and immediately called and told them I wouldn't pay this until my yard was cleaned up and my chimney was the right color and was told my sales rep, Cory, was getting married that weekend and would call me back. No phone call, ever, and I honestly let it slip for a bit because I got back into the grind of life and forgot. Cory shows up to MY PLACE OF BUSINESS and tells my boss that ""I have a problem paying my bills."" I was so upset and embarrassed. Not one phone call to me, not one email, not a letter in the mail, heck he could have come and nailed something to the door, he knew where I lived, but no he went to my WORK. The most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. When I explained to him I hadn't paid because of the issues, he demeaned me by asking if I ""knew they were roofing nails, because most women don't know what roofing nails look like."" That is a direct quote... So I explained to him that yes, my womanhood has not made me so stupid that I don't know what roofing nails are and then told him about the chimney. He told me if I wanted my chimney repainted it was EXTRA. Had I been informed of this up front, I wouldn't have been so upset, but I expected after almost $11k that my roof (including my chimney) would look better than before. His response? ""Its like when you buy a boat, you don't expect the trailer to come for free."" OK, but if I take my boat to be repaired, I expect it to come back THE SAME COLOR. His response again? ""Go buy all the products, supplies, and paint and I'll send someone out to paint it for you."" I was so mad that I literally never wanted to see him again. I offered to pay him MORE THAN half of what the balance was that was left so I could have the last bit of that money to make the repairs for their crappy workmanship and he agreed. Then, AFTER I PAID, he sent me a letter saying he removed the warranty from my roof for non payment.
When the storm blew through this week, my BRAND NEW ROOF, with NO WARRANTY, because of a horrible company LEAKED.
Take my experience as you will, but just know, you will be overcharged, underserviced, and if you are a woman, treated like you either don't exist or are too stupid for them to talk to.
Be safe and please look elsewhere for your roofing needs!
Additionally, after writing my reviews, the sales rep, Cory Beaird, had the audacity to post in a public facebook group bashing my character with a post that was riddled with lies and spelling errors. After looking at their responses to other bad reviews, it appears they refuse to take responsibility for their many mistakes and instead choose to blame their customers and call them ""bad customers"". TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

I would strongly recommend finding a different roofer in the area. We paid $4K for a small townhouse roof. That would have been fine if the quality matched the price. The company dodged my calls and emails showing these images and the poor quality work. Finally someone did come out and apologized and said ""we can do better"". This roof comes with a workmanship quality warranty. There is none. This is a sales tactic. I called them on the warranty and they only partially fixed one portion of the issues and still not to satisfaction. I'll be hiring a NEW roofing company to fix the poor quality work. Then will send Holloway the bill. Tried to work with them, but they just don't care. I hear this company had a great reputation, but I'm not sure why. Maybe the first generation prided themselves on quality, but the newer generation of Holloway running the company is going to ruin that reputation fast.

Google maps ""Garden Villas"" in Fort Walton Beach, on Carmel Drive behind the Lowes. If you are local, come take a look at their finished product. You decide if it's work hiring this company.

I'll take some more detailed photos and update this post shortly. But it might be easier to just swing by and see for yourself. LOL

I can add additional photos just ask.

We requested an estimate and the price seemed reasonable. We then contacted Cory a week ago via phone and asked to sign an e-contract ASAP as we had a significant leak and problems with our roof. Two days later, after not hearing a word, we emailed him and AGAIN asked for the contract. 48 hours later, I actually drove to the office where the girl at the desk couldn't get me a contract to sign, but she assured me that someone else in the office would get a contract to me ASAP. Three days later, we still haven't heard from anyone at Holloway. Apparently they are too busy to fix my roof. After speaking with others who have tried to work with them, I've realized that this seems to be par for the course.

Seriously unimpressed. Had small leak to repair. Guy came out and quoted leak repair and some other work needing done. Price was low and fair. I got a few other quotes and emailed back stating I accept quote except for some additional items (just wanted leak fixed) and that I would like to be scheduled. Week or so went by and I emailed and was told he sits down once a week and sets schedule that I would hear then. As time went by I checked and nothing, even called on occasion and asked him to come by after heavy rains to see actual leak in progress (I live one street from main office would have taken 5 minutes out of his day). I was told too busy. 7 weeks go by and no call, no schedule. Had to contract another roofer and wait his one week time to estimate and two week time to repair. Repair got done and still have not heard. Seems my repair was back of the list. I am only giving one star because I have to give a rating. Given the option I would give zero stars.

Sandra and her crew showed up at a little past 8am this morning and have already finished the re-roof. I am seriously impressed with their work and I love the new roof/color. They were very attentive to clean-up and was meticulous in their efforts Thanks to your Roofers and to your company. I am 100% pleased.
