After 19 years, it was time for a new roof. Holden Roofing and, specifically, Stephen Stark, was recommended to us by our neighbors who had just had their roof replaced. Stephen came right over and, after having a thorough look at the roof, explained that he noticed evidence of hail damage, showing us several pictures he had taken. Stephen is very professional and friendly and thoroughly familiar with roofing construction, building codes, and insurance processes. He was very clear about our options and answered all our questions about coverage. We immediately gave our insurance company a call to see about getting an adjuster to come by. Stephen did all the talking.
Stephen came over and met the adjustor for the inspection; however, because of the steepness and condition of the roof, the adjuster was not comfortable climbing to the top. Our insurance company arranged for an inspection service to do a second inspection. Stephen came over to meet the inspector, but, again, the guy said the roof was too dangerous to climb. So, another inspection was scheduled. Stephen came over for a third time, and this time we got a guy who could inspect the whole roof, and the hail damage was confirmed.
After getting the go ahead from our insurance company, Stephen met with us to select shingles and discuss repair details. Again, he was very helpful in helping to make final decisions about the job.
Amazingly, our roof was replaced in one, very long day. Some final cleanup was completed the next morning. Gutters were replaced a couple of days later after some trim rot was repaired on the garage. The entire process couldn't have gone better.
I highly recommend Holden Roofing and Stephen Stark.

WORST Customer Service. Have requested documents from Kristine on 3 separate occasions. The third time I called and spoke with Hilary (Receptionist?) because Kristine did not answer. Hillary proceeded to LAUGH on the phone and sarcastically said she would talk to her and immediately put me on eternal hold. After coming back on the line, she said that Kristine would send me the documents by the end of the day. It is was 4:20 PM and I had already hear this on multiple occasions.

The front desk is the face and voice of your company. What a sad representation of Holden Roofing.

Side Note: I work as an auditor for Property Management Company with 26 apartment complexes in Houston area. I for one will be sure to comment my thoughts on the customer service for this company should any bids ever com in.

Holden Roofing and have resolved this issue satisfactorily. They explained that their program manager had recently left the company which is why my complaint was not acted on sooner.

Maynard and his team helped us get a new roof that we love! They made the whole process seamless and it was so quick and easy. Maynard worked around our schedule and once the process started, it took a day from removal of the old roof to complete installation. I highly recommend their services!

Great work! Guys were there early! They finished the entire roof in one day! They cleaned up their mess! All the nails were picked up! Great Job! I highly recommend this company! Our roof looks great! The color actually looks better now than the original roof. Our roof was replaced because of hail damage. They dealt with the insurance company, making our experience smooth and easy!

I gotta give Holden an A+. They kept to the schedule, they got the job done on 2 of the hottest days of July. I am not sure how the roofers could do this job so fast but they sure did. Our Sales guy put up with hell from me because i wanted perfection. They performed. They replaced the one piece of gutter immediately after damage....
My roof looks great. thank you Mike Gibbons and to your boss, he is a champ.

After hail damage we worked with Holden Roofing and Charles to replace our roof and gutters. Charles met with our insurance company and ensured the process was smooth. Once approved by the insurance company and the HOA, Holden went to work and did a terrific job. The crew worked hard to complete the work in an efficient and professional manner. Charles came by repeatedly to ensure the work proceeded. We were very impressed with Holden, their personnel, and their work. We highly recommend them for your roofing and gutter needs.

Note: My family, and I do not have any affiliation, connection to Stephen, Holding Roofing and anyone that works there. This review is completely unbiased and not paid for. I did this for no favors and on my own accord.
This review is about 2 weeks overdue but I really have to make it known HOW AMAZING IT IS TO WORK WITH STEPHEN ANS HOLDING ROOFING!!!! I don't know how exactly my mother found him but Stephen and his company has truly surpassed every milestone and expectation and went above and beyond. His patience to listening what my mother requests has been extra ordinary. My mother and I are of Asian descent and although my English is as American as it can get...; my mother can be hard to understand many times with her English. According to my mother and the many interactions I've had with Stephen, he has been courteous, extremely patience and followed through with every word of the contract. He follows up with text messages, phone calls, and voice messages between my mother, two sisters and I. I can understand how frustrating that can be to reconfirm, or go over the details because my mother just wanted to make sure she understood the terms for her new roof replacement. Stephen of the time reexplained, came to the house, called or text to explain the details.
For those that reside within an HOA establishment and are concerned with the stringent requirements or finding a company that will make sure no time and money is wasted, EVERYONE, should reach out to Holding Roofing. He knew the details of what our HOAs requirements were and this helped us stay on track and time. Even when we found out paperwork that needed to be filled , Stephen gladly paused the work until WE were satisfied before starting the construction demolition and roofing of my parent's roof.
The day of roofing came and his team treated our property and our neighbors as if they lived there. Even before beginning work, Stephen reached out to make sure if we wanted our satellites re installed. Staging, demolition of the roof was clean throughout and the entire 2000 ? sq foot home and was completed in 1-2 days ( maybe one day). Came by to make sure and went over warranty information with my mother :) and then myself(over the phone).

We were so impressed with his professionalism, work, communication that we preceded to have his company work on my home, as well as my sister's in the near future( hopefully by August). If every company could operate like Stephen's Holding roofing company, workmanship, then we would have a perfect world of trustworthy people.

The billing department personnel, Aubrey, gets 10/10 stars as well. She is quick to return calls, arrange payments and is genuinely a kind and nice person to work with. I could go on and on about this company. I hope reading this review will help future customers put their fears and concerns aside and choose Stephen and his company. My experience with Holden Roofing was exceptional. I called and had an appointment within two days. Charles Stetzel examines my roof and then came back the next day to meet with my insurance adjuster and walked me through the process of obtaining approval from my HOA. After insurance settlement and HOA approval, they scheduled the roof within two weeks. The workers were careful not to damage my plants. They were very hard working, did an excellent job, and cleaned up everything. Charles Stetzel and Holden Roofing were so easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!
