Recommended Customer Reviews

I always look at reviews of a company before I hire them for any job, but this one taught me a lesson... the lesson was to look more closely at the reviews. First off, how many companies do you know that have all 5 star reviews? How many of these reviews are written in the same time frame except the one written by the company owner? Once the crew arrived 8 hours later than scheduled, the job began. And though the decking was in bad shape, the crew said nothing, when we should have been notified and given time to ask insurance for a supplement to replace it. Instead, they went on roofing. During the process I saw some pretty large holes in the decking and was reassured by the crew lead they would be repaired. The day after they were gone, I found these holes to be covered with shingles and paper, but not repaired! When they began the replacement of the metal roof over the patio, I came out of the house to find them ripping the metal sheets off without removing the screws! This did damage to the supports as did them walking on the frame and bending some of the supports. At that point we decided to not let them back on our roof again! When the owner called, he was irate and threatened to put a lien on our home. We hired another company to complete the repairs on the shingle roof and another to complete the installation of the metal roof. The owner called us again and asked to have a face to face...we agreed and he came by with one of his employees. After telling us they were a Christian company, the bull started flying again, telling us the holes being covered was an accident and that it didn't matter who did the remainder of the work, but that we would have to pay them the full amount of the insurance money. Next, his salesman said that they would be foreclosing on our home ""pretty much right away!"" Then he told us the price of the metal sheets was $2,500, when my research revealed I could purchase the metal retail for $600 at Lowe's! Eventually, we subtracted the amounts we spent hiring other contractors to fix the damage done on the shingle roof and ate the damage done to the metal roof frame. They accepted the payment we calculated and signed off on it. No one should have to deal with this much aggression, deception and loss when seeking a roof replacement.
