I needed help fixing and remodeling my house so it could be sold. It needed to be gutted, new windows, wall repair, standing water issues, and brick work. I called and spoke to Mike who made a special trip out and sent me a bid within 48hrs. I accepted the bid and he did an excellent job. I was so happy and amazed at what A great job he did and how quick he was. I would NOT use anyone else. Thank you Mike for being honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. Your skills and work are very appreciated. Thank you, again!

Grand Prairie, TX. We hired HME Construction for an addition to our house. Mike took our money and did not complete the project. We have no brick, no soffit, standing water, leaking roof, incomplete deck, a patio which slopes to the house and incomplete electrical. I wish I had seen the first review before hiring HME. It is spot on. Mike hired incompetent crews and did not show up to supervise the work then abandoned the project.

The owner, Mike Vass, claimed he was worth waiting for. Had Mike done, or taken responsibility for the work done, we might have a different outcome. But we did not. We had a ""two to three week job"" that took twice that. We had slipshod work, 80% percent done by guys without supervision. And it should be noted, we paid premium price. We had huge hopes for this company, and we are disappointed with the attention to detail and the quality. example? He was tasked to move light switches, alarm and thermostat about 1 foot on the wall in the bedroom. He did, but at the end of the job, and he cleared out with our holdback check, the AC didn't work. Turns out he miswired the thermostat and burned out the zoning board. We told him, 700 dollars later- haven't heard a word. I knew we wouldn't and I let him off the hook for the damages (not like he was going to do the right thing). So, if you need a remodeling contractor, our clear advice is DO NOT hire this company. Steer clear of Mike Vass. Well meaning, but a corner-cutting, marginally incompetent bullish-t artist. Caveat Emptor!
