Financing terms were horrible and had to end up paying cash. It took them 6 months to start the job and hardly and next to no follow up in between to say when the windows would be delivered or an estimate regarding a start date. After the job was completed, there were nails and screws coming out of the beams, cement used to seal some areas instead of the proper sealant that is designed for that purpose, no tint on the windows (which should have been done), and a couple of the windows were placed unevenly in the window openings. Also, no follow up after the job was completed. Had to call the company multiple times to have them correct some of the issues and ended up having to pay another contractor to fine tune their work. Spent a lot of money for a horrible job. Would not recommend this company.

They are hacks!!!! They will destroy your home and then not fix it and say they aren't responsible, had my roof and impact doors and windows and garage door done, worst mistake I ever made!! Lily the owner of the company is racist , they ordered the wrong door, broke the stucco around the door, filled in 2-3"" in gaps with caulk!!! Left trash at my house for weeks, never pulled a permit, missing screens , wont sign bc it is not complete, Oh yeah, one of their nasty workers, tried to squat and pee and krap in my garage!!! they threaten to put lien, but go ahead , wont complete the job, texts me calls me is harassing , the worst company ever!! Lilly text me and told me pay now or beware- they are big with the threats!

This company is the worst. I used them to installed impacted Windows in My condo. One of the sliding Doors have lock issues since it was installed. The management employee always answered the phone saying that someone was going to come and fix it. It have been almost a year and nothing.

It's family owned and operated business works hard to ensure that their customers are satisfied people don't understand that when you are doing a construction project at your home there are many unforeseen scenarios that could happen a good contractor is someone who has their finger on the trigger for any situation that could arise and has the professional experience to handle it properly. HK passed all inspections provided me all of my documentation and did a wonderful clean up after the job is complete I'm very impressed and recommend them strongly

Give 0, don't work with fake company. Worst costumer service and fraud company's ever. don't go with unprofessional company. I replaced the roof with the fake company after month later water leakage. No inspection done after roofing work. I filled complaint to better business bureau and city as well. Your company massed up my furniture, wall, sofa and other furniture. Wait and watch.

Landscapers broke my window and other contractors weren't available for months but HK contractors were able to inspect and install my window that is impact resistant very quickly! I'm so happy and would 100% recommend them to family and friends!

My initial review on HK Contracting was quite bad. But considering the times we are living in now (COVID) and the companies willingness to reach out to me and attempt to fix anything they could to remedy the situation, I have changed my feelings somewhat on the job done and the company as a whole.

My secured contract was for a complete roof. The communication with this company is one thing I can praise. Lilly seems to always be there to answer the phone and have a discussion on whatever needs talked about. She is however upfront with you that weekends are off limits for religious reasons, which is fair.

Because of everything going on, my permits took months to get. Between my HOA and the slowness of the government right now, they are more to blame than HK though. In a series of unfortunate events, HK tore my old roof off to do their work as quickly as possible as promised, and then as fate would have it, it didn't stop raining for 2 straight weeks it seemed. So with a exposed roof to the elements, things were not looking good. I called Lilly and told her, and she sent someone out the same day. Problem is, the workers she sent were either inexperienced or lazy and did not do a good job protecting the roof. This resulted in water getting into my roof and causing a small 4-5 ft of water damage on my ceiling.

Now I can play the blame game all day, but in reality what happened was a series of bad events at once. But in the end my home did get damaged, so I cannot leave any more than 3 stars here. I do hope in the future HK will pick better contractors who take pride in their work and ensure a home is safe before leaving the job site.

The roof was completed extremely fast and looks absolutely fantastic and I couldn't be happier, however at this time HK was very busy and could not get someone out to fix my internal ceiling right away. This lead to me writing a in-depth bad review on HK and possibly marking up the damage as a loss. However Lilly did indeed get back to me and fit me in to fix my ceiling and repaint the whole ceiling (as the colors wouldn't match) without a fee to me as it was the workers who caused the damages.

The workers were leagues more professional than the roofers were and they did their hardest to ensure the work was done right. Sadly because painting pop corn is a messy business, there was some paint that was scattered across my house, but nothing I cannot fix in a day.

In the end I have a beautiful roof and ceiling from HK Contracting. The problem was only on the road to get there. From the other reviews I read on Google this is not normal for HK, and they normally have their work done extremely fast and with pride in their work, so I will mark this up as a mess that occured during a trying time in our country.

I do hope that HK will get better contractors under them that will represent them in the same way Lilly represented herself to me, timely, professional, and pride in their work. (It would also be nice if at least one spoke English to help communicate when something does go wrong).

In the end I would say that if HK is in your area, give them a chance. They are at least one of the few companies that will follow through when something goes wrong, instead of slighting you.
