Sighed a paper on finishing of job that contractor wanted me to fill out. I said the work was satisfactory. So why not excellent or bad or something in between ! I have to say that Zoro was good from the get go. He was quick on returning any email or phone calls. After that not good.

The issue is his work crew does not pay attention to detail or good workman ship. I pointed out to the forman several times that the edges when not even and need fixed. He said he would cut them. Never happen. On one part of the roof it was extremely poor laying of material. I pointed that out to Zoro (owner). He did fix it somewhat to look a lot better. Now I showed them the heater vent was not stright.. When they put down the flashing around the vent they did not make sure the vent was straight. Was leaning way to one side. Only way to fix that would be to take back off and make sure the flashing was located in the right position. They did not correct the issue. They looked and tried to fix it but kind of blew it off for they knew it would require extra work to correct the poor work the roofer was doing.

Now there one big spot kind of in the upper middle of the rood where the shingle is not laying good. I pointed that out again to Zoro and he said it would correct itself after it warmed up. Not going to happen for to big of a gap. Again, they did not tried to correct the roofer poor workmanship.

Most of the time they try to use the excurse that the job was an overlay and things would not be smooth or straight. I cannot accept that answer or excuse.

Now am going to have to find someone to come fix their errors. For I cannot get on the roof myself because of health issue and age.

Just so you know. I myself worked on all end of construction for many years. So know what can be done to fix thing and correct poor workman ship.
