As a roofer from a family of roofers, he has been involved in roofing since he was 15. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, he spent years as an engineer with Patterson UTI. Shortly after, he transitioned to contracting roofs with Silver Line Roofing before founding Hill Country Housetops Roofing Co.
