We've lived in our house for the last 20 years and had a persistent leaks that two previous roofing companies failed to repair. It would get repaired and stop the leak for a few years, then would leak again. The problem was even to get someone to work on our house because of the steep pitch. We would get an appointment, then get a call and let us know that looking at Google they could see the pitch of the roof was too steep. Through a referral from a custom home builder was able to talk with Curtis from High Tech Roofing. Their expert employees took off all the concrete tiles in the areas were there were leeks, removed all the calking from the previous roof repair jobs and found the true cause of the leaks. On the front of the house, the original roofer used lead to line the ridge between the stucco and the roof line. The lead sheeting is soft and never would have been used. I saw the pictures of the holes in the lead that had been caulked by the previous roofers. Curtis was there to oversee the job to make sure it was repaired correctly once and for all. Our garage leak had a different root problem from the original builder. This was also repaired and water tested to ensure it was repaired correctly. The incredible part of this story is they gave me a quote before the job started and that is what they charged me even though it took way more time then they thought. My father used this company in the past with good results, HOWEVER, things must have changed at this company. I left several messages with no return calls, until I finally had a live person answer one evening. Made an appointment for the following Monday afternoon. They never showed up or called, no contact whatsoever. I can't imagine this company finishing a job properly if they can't even show up to give me an estimate.

Fast version of it,I had an AWESOME 5/5 star handyman recommend him.I called the guy,he didn't contact me,I called his referrer,he contacts me maybe a week later.After said week, we scheduled roughly 2 appointments to which this man never responded to.After lots of nagging and repeated attempts via my solid contact,he came out and inspected the roof some.I prompted for an estimate maybe 3 times and I still haven't heard back from.This is across the span of maybe 3 months.I will say, I can't really rate him for work at all.But I would say less than 1 star for professionalism.So,despite whatever good I would love to have supported, I can't sign on for this.Roof is leaking as we speak and I'm just going to outsource it to whoever ends up being available.It's hard to patronize good business when it's not good business (Yogi Berra is rolling in his grave right now).
