Tony and John are amazing. Not only has my roof stood up to these atmospheric storms after 8 years, when there are issues, they are ready to standby their work and then some. I installed a new skylight and even though they are so busy with leaks, they made the time to come help me out. Amazing customer service.

I had High Quality Roofing replace my roof. Tony and Tommy are honest and great to work with. When a problem arose with my project, they made it right before I even had to ask. They were easy to communicate with through the entire project, and were able to schedule my roof within a few weeks of the initial estimate and complete it on schedule. They did a great job cleaning up my property and my neighbor's as well after the roof was removed.

We were referred to High Quality Roofing through ""word of mouth"", and called Tony to get an estimate for light repair work on our roof (roof cap and vent replacements). He came out later that same day to inspect the damage, but also let us know that he was booked solid for six weeks out. He asked us if we had another resource, and after we shared that it was hard to find one that could do the work in the near future (This was after the recent heavy storms), he offered to work something out, and to try to squeeze the work in between his heavier jobs. The following week he completed the work in shots. He did a terrific job, and the cost was very reasonable, but the part that struck us most was that he saw that we needed assistance sooner rather than later, and quickly took care of the work despite being very heavily booked. He will be good to keep in mind when much heavier work is needed.

Tony and Tom and their crew did a great job on our roof: very fair price, committed to a schedule weeks in advance and kept it; did the work fast and throughly, and the quality looks good. There is a lot to like about the way they do business, but this stood out to me: early in the process We asked about a potential addition of scope -- new insulation -- and they gave us an estimated price and we agreed to wait and see what the final cost would be. We planned around their estimate. Well, weeks later, when the job was done, their final price was exactly as quoted: no surprise increase, just exactly the work as promised -- and they threw in a new cap on our chimney, too. I appreciated their approach, and I appreciate the new roof.

In 2016 HQR did an excellent job replacing the roof on my house, at a very reasonable price. This year (2021) they also replaced a skylight with a more modern robust one, sent me information and photos of what the new one would be like. Communication was very good and answered all my questions and concerns. They were very flexible around fitting things in. All at very reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

Tony provided me with a bid of 8gs to replace roof but said he wouldn't be able to do it for approximately a month because he was busy with other work.

I recently contacted Tony and told him I was ready to move forward with the roof replacement. As a result Tony came back for one last look of the roof in order to discuss placement of skylights. After that meeting I received an email saying that the price is now $10,500 (the updated price gouge email was sent two days before reroof was scheduled).

I obviously questioned the $2500 increase, to which his response was short and definitive saying that he had to now install skylights (which was discussed during original 8g bid) and install bathroom vents. He ended the message with ""you find another and I pass."" For the record my plumber is going to install the bathroom vents and he just has to tar/roof around them. We did discuss him drilling hole for vents and waiting for plumber to install them. We did not however discuss him installing the vents.

I responded and said that he did a family members much larger roof for approximately 9gs and simultaneously installed a large corrugated cover with large wood frame for an exterior stairwell light well to protect the stairwell from the elements. The cover was way larger than my two sky lights, which for the record are paid for (he just has to install).

He responded today and stated ""we will not come tomorrow thank you.""

I honestly think me questioning the $2500 raise in price is completely reasonable and should not have elicited such a short definitive response with a B.S. excuse. My last text to him was ""so you're not willing to come down?"" Tony did not respond.

Tony strung me along for over a month during which time he agreed on a set 8g price. Then literally the night before the reroof cancels because I did not agree with such a steep gouge in price. I lost over a month and now have to search for new roofers and get new quotes which will take more time.

I guess when business is booming Tony can go against his word and up-charge a ridiculous amount. Very poor business practice and may you reap what you sow Tony.

DO NOT hire this guy.
