I don't even know where to start with this company. They not only SCAMMED us from the beginning, but from start to finish this has been the biggest nightmare of our lives since being homeowners since 2018. We got our roof installed back in June 2022, general contractors were the rudest people we've dealt with, they left metal panels on our $20K brand new sod and destroyed it, left the job undone for 3-4 weeks at a time so our soffits are completely rotted and destroyed, gutters were destroyed because of this as well, metal panels were not fastened correctly, general contractors showed up high on pot several times on the job and left their nasty trash all over our yard (never once picked up), I could honestly list over 100 different issues with our install of our $40K metal roof for hours. My husband called the owner, it took him over 2 months to even come to our home and see the damage that was done, he never once took ""Ownership"" over anything regarding our roof and simply said ""not my problem"". PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They even talked us into wrapping Solar into our roof and this too has been a nightmare with LGCY Solar, as of today our yard is fried, panels look like an amateur did them for $40K, we are still having to repair our home after the mess they made over 6 months later in January 2023. WHAT A SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THESE NASTY PEOPLE!

Horrible. It started out well then went severely downhill at the end. I contacted this company through Angi. I explained very clearly exactly what the project entailed at the onset.

Within a few days (on August 12, 2022) they sent out a very nice rep who looked over the project, called the office to make sure they could do the work and received a price quote. Then he wrote a General Sales Agreement which we both signed. I also gave them my payment information as a 50% deposit was required. Nowhere on this agreement does it state that the price quote may be changed by the company or that this agreement was subject to further approval. The rep also indicated it would be 3 weeks before they could complete the project and that the next step would be a final measurement of the window size over the next week.

On August 24th, after I had not heard anything, I contacted the rep and asked if they were still on track to install the windows. Later that day I got a call from someone else at the company who ""welcomed me"" to the Hero family and indicated they would be scheduling the window measurements soon. The rep responded to me that same day, after that call that, ""Yes sir, we are on track.""

Six days later on August 30th I got a text, rather than a call, from the rep indicating the following, ""I submitted the contract for approval and I found out that the contract was denied for approval due to the sale agreement price being too low."" He then layed out my options as follows, ""1) Agree to the new sales price which was 233% higher (or an additional $2,662), or 2) For me to go find another installer.

Needless to say I wrote back expressing my displeasure and received no reply from him or anyone else at the company.

I am puzzled as to why the price suddenly increased (again nothing in the executed General Sales Agreement indicating that it was subject to price changes or additional approval). I know the price of glass or labor didn't suddenly increase at by 233%. So this could be, 1) they really didn't want to do the job and just priced themselves out of it, 2) I live in a very nice home and neighborhood and they decided to try and take advantage of that, or 3) simple greed.

I am obviously not going to have them perform this work (which probably could be done in a day or less). I do not recommend this company to anyone for any type of work. If they didn't want to do the job they should have just been honest with me up front. I can understand that, but I cannot understand the tactic they used. Very poor, and shady business practices in my opinion.

I would like for others to know that 100% am not happy with the 5-6 months drawn out process of corrections. The most recent repair guy told me I was the 10th fix on doors done. Showed me photos of other properties where doors were incorrectly installed. I highly recommend getting all appointments in an email or hard copy. So far two inspections have failed. Most recently without my approval, screens were replaced with a 2/100.00 deal per the repair guys words. Poor fabric and has a 1/2 inch gap where all bugs can just fly inside. This company has added so much stress to my life. They were not dependable to me so please read all reviews including ones on the BBB site.

We sadly contacted this company in November 2021 to get some new front doors and screened in doors our screened in areas outside. The Sales man (who no longer works there) did a great job convincing us we would get what we paid for. He said our doors will be in March 2022. We said we completely understand and gave him a down payment of $5k.

March 2022 hits and we haven't heard from them so we gives them a call. No one has any idea what is going on and gives us the run around and keeps telling me someone will call me back. This does not happen so I keep calling day after day (multiple times a day) to get an answer. Finally I am told ""sorry we have to push this back till May 2022"". Okay - fine. We will wait until May.

May 2022 rolls around and the same thing happened. Didn't hear anything. I called and called and called, got the run around again. Passed between people. Hung up on. People are leaving the company left and right, I am not speaking with the same people. Finally I got a personal number of a lady (who now no longer works there) she assured me now every one will have access to a spreadsheet with our order and she will give me weekly updates. Next update will be in June. So I wait 3 weeks. - I hear nothing... but I will be patient.

So June 15th I call... no info, lady says: ""we have no date, oh wait, looks like they are on back order"". Okay now I want a refund. She gives me the VP's number. It is now the 16th I have called his cell phone 3 times. Sent a few texts and he said he will call me in the morning. its now 11am and I heard nothing. I just want a refund. I am now working with my CC company to get my money back.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR DOORS. I do not recommend using them at all. I have no idea why they have good ratings. I have been patient for 7 months and now I am angry and I will get my money back because I did not receive the service I was told I would get in the time frame I would get it. I was not told anything was on back order until yesterday. If that was the case, why not ask me if I want to pick new doors? Why not install the back doors, oh because they are all oddly on backorder... all 4 doors. I get the run around and I get ignored. I got scammed and now I will make sure I get my refund one way or another and I let others know to be very careful if they decide to use this unprofessional company.

When the VP of the company ignores situations like this, which he is, I now know why the company is so dysfunctional, it comes from the top and trickles down.

We hired Hero Construction to replace our roof. While they did that well, as part of the contract they removed the solar heating system for the pool, butchering it in the process. Two months later and after many follow-up phone calls, they have still not repaired and reinstalled the heater. I have asked to have the manager call me back multiple times but they never return any calls.

We needed 6 new windows and a new sliding glass door for our condo. We talked with 3 companies and chose Hero Construction because of their window / door products and warranty. We love the windows and the door installed!! The windows and door are have impact-resistant glass which is a must when living in FL. We believe our electric bills will be less because of the materials and coatings on the glass.

Very professional salesmen but the quotes were left field high. Almost 60k to refoof shingles. Almost 2k a window. 61 K for a 18kw solor. High pressure 20 percent off for immediate commitment. Was able to find all these products from A+ BBB business for what was well under half the price. Dont like the commit now to get a real price tactic. ""Hero"" 5 percent discount is off the astronomical quoted price. Wouldn't even of reviewed if they didnt have me sign a committed to a review. Wouldn't touch the price match guarentee they gave me in writing .
