Alex was amazing. We had a leak near our chimney during a big rainy season - Alex came by to take a look even though he was super busy. Additionally he found that there were some issues with the work done by a contractor that we were using for our renovation. He fixed it all and the individual who did it all was an amazingly hard worker. They cleaned up and left the place in great shape and was able to share pictures of everything as well. Would want to work together again - but hope we don't have to!!

We almost didn't hire Alex Hernandez and what a mistake that would have been!
When we first contacted Alex, he responded quickly and give us a complete and fair estimate. But we had one bid that was slightly lower and decided to go with that roofer instead. But when that individual didn't return our calls, we went right back to Alex. He could not have been more professional. We finalized the contract quickly and he was able to schedule our new roof within weeks. He and his crew were prompt, meticulous and very thorough. He spotted problems, checked with us on what we wanted done and didn't charge us for several extras, like new roof vents.

We recently discovered a leak in our roof that had been wreaking havoc on the wall near our entry way for what was probably years!! I used the request quote feature on Yelp, Alex was one of the first to respond and immediately came out within a day or two to assist. It was hard to pinpoint the exact issue, Alex was patient and very supportive throughout the entire process. His team fixed our roof within a day of locating the exact cause, whoever installed the roof did not properly seal water flow running along the side of our house. After the fix, Alex made subsequent check ins to make sure our roof was fine and I can happily say that everything looks good especially as these storms continue to batter the bay area. I am tremendously grateful for Alex and his team and will be using his services in the future as well as recommend him to all my friends and family. Prices are fair and work is very detailed. I had 4 roofing companies come for estimates. Hernandez was the most thorough and provided me with a written estimate on the spot. While Alex, the estimator was inspecting the roof, he repositioned a few lose tiles. I was really impressed with that. They came and replaced the underlayment as required by Tesla within 3 weeks, the quickest turnaround out of the 4 companies.

Had a roof situation go from bad to worse extremely fast during a recent wind storm. Alex moved me to the top of the list and was out for some preventative tarping the morning before the rains are supposed to start. I requested a price quote and within 24 hours Alex responded. He promptly came out the following day on a Monday to evaluate the leak in my Roofing. It was supposed to be for a price quote however, Alex came and spent about three hours trying to fix the problem right then and there. Unfortunately, he could not do it as it required a more extensive project, and he gave me a very fair quote and came back two days later, and completed the job with one of his assistance. His assistance was very professional. From what I can tell, they have done an excellent job and no longer leaking ( waiting for a bigger shower to come). I have been trying to solve this leak for approximately 14 months with another roofer who could not find the leak and was telling me I need a new roof. I am very thankful and appreciative to Alex and will refer him and use him in the future. Don't hesitate with Hernandez roofing.
