Our real estate agent recommended Hernandez Roofing. I arranged to meet with Evan, the owner of this family business. It was quickly evident that Evan was interested in doing a quality job, as he carefully described the issues he would correct on the 48-year old house that my wife and I just purchased. He walked us through the choices we could make, including energy efficient composition shingles, which we chose. I didn't bother getting any other estimates, as I was 100% satisfied with the estimate that I was given.

The crew removed an old rooftop solar water heater at no cost and reconstructed part of the garage overhang that the previous owner had cut off to make room for an RV. The entire project done in four short days, once work was started. The job site was left clean each day, and all materials removed. While we are too old to ever need another roof, I whole heartedly recommend Hernandez Roofing for your next roof.

We needed to replace our 35 years old concrete tile roof. After multiple quotes from different companies, we decided to hire Hernandez roofing to do a lift and relay job. This is a family operated company. Nestor and his father Angel are really nice people and they are knowledgeable as well. They will try their best to satisfy your needs. The price is also fair given the situation that everything is increasing in price now. They are also organized and efficient workers. The job started right away and was finished in only 4 days. They also gave us the deal of soft washing the entire roof. Now the roof looks very neat and it saves us thousands of dollars without replacing the tiles.

We bought our house earlier this year and we knew we needed a new roof. We had 6 roofers come out to give an estimate, 2 never actually sent an estimate, of the remaining Hernandez wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but in the middle of the pack but they made the best impression.

They showed up on time for the estimate appointment. They weren't pushy and gave a detailed break down of the scope of work. We did know the roof was in rough shape and that there would most likely be unknowns once the old roof came off.

Once we signed them to do the work, they actually asked if they could start a couple days earlier since one of their other jobs had finished quicker. Not going to say no to work starting early.

Every day they sent us update pictures (we weren't moved in yet) and let us know the status of the work.

In the end there was substantial replacement of ply and joists that needed to be done and they took detailed pictures to show us what was needed where.

Now the roof is water tight and looking great.

The workers were very professional and I liked that they were prompt. They were very patient with our barking dog and didn't seem to mind the distraction. When they spotted a problem with part of the roof, they immediately contacted us and gave us a new quote which we thought was fair. They fixed the problem and continued to fix the broken tiles on our roof. The process took a total of three days and they were very thorough. Roofing Company Recommendation. I would like to recommend a roofing company that recently did the roof on my house in Oceanside. After calling several other roofing companies in and getting quotes I decided to go with Hernandez Roofing. The owner of the company Evan Hernandez was very pleasant to work with and extremely helpful. Their pricing is extremely competitive which is one reasons why I chose to go with them, but that's not the only reason. Out of all the companies that I called Evan was the only one that personally delivered his quote to me, all of the other companies just emailed me a quote and never cared to follow up. He is very motivated and actually excited to do the job which was one of the biggest factors that made me choose his company. He made the whole process very simple and stress free for me. When it came time to actually do the work the crew that he brought in was extremely friendly, professional, and hard working. They had my entire roof, which was about 40 years old, stripped and reroofed in a matter of days. The roof that they did looks absolutely beautiful and is 100% top shelf work. We were very pleased with the overall quality of service we received from Hernandez Roofing. Our tile roof needed to be completely removed and replaced with new paper. A few eaves and old boards were replaced as well. The workers came when they said they would be here and cleaned up everyday before leaving. The job was done in a week and we are very pleased with the end product!

Hernandez Roofing installed a full re-lay of our entire roof (after the initial contractor did not inspect his roofing company's work, leaving 15 years of poor workmanship to become a major failure impacting other parts of our home.)

The Hernandez Roofing crew was on time, worked hard through the entire two/three days, cleaned up the work site at the end of each day, took photos of the incorrect roof prior to re-lay, and gave us a complete understanding of the whole re-lay. Outstanding in Every Way

We got a number of quotes on re-doing our roof and then heard about Hernandez from a painter we had working on our kitchen. The company is run by the two sons who've taken over the work from their dad. The two boys could not have been more friendly or communicative, keeping us informed all the way through the process. The workers were prompt, put down drop cloths to catch debris and did a very good job of cleaning up each day. The roof was completed on time and looks fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the crew or the work. Highly recommended!
