I probably would not go with this roofing company again. We had a section of our asphalt shingles roof that had a couple leaks. We called Heritage roofing and they gave us a quote for replace 200 sq. feet for $1400. The roofer wrote a contract and we signed it and paid the $100 required deposit. Two weeks past and we did not hear anything, so we called in and the roofer came out the next day on Saturday. He was here for 3 hours. Later that day, I went up to check what was replaced and it measured 40 sq. feet. We called back, and he said he would come out Saturday but never did. We called more, and he did come out the next Saturday and replaced an additional 18 sq. ft.

The roofer said that 200 sq. feet was an estimate and I understand that, but 40 sq. feet is only 1/5th .

The roofer did help me for about 10 minutes put some boards in the attic since the roof was open. He also seemed very knowledgeable and was friendly.

This is the 2nd house Heritage has put in for me they have the best crew. They were so flexible on the time frame to allow me to coordinate with my solar company. They were very clean and the crew was wonderful!

Heritage Roofing is fantastic! I admit that I am a stickler for details and pay close attention to jobs performed on my home. A roof is a big investment/expense, so I had several highly rated roofing companies bid for a complete roof tear off and replacement. Not only was Heritage Roofing one of the most competitive bids, but they were also highly recommended by a close friend of mine, also in Lafayette. Greg, the owner, is honest and professional. Terry, the foreman, was responsive and reliable, as was his crew. Both Greg and Terry provided their cell phone numbers so that I could contact them with any concerns along the way. I am happy to say that my new roof (Certainteed Landmark Asphalt Shingles) looks great!

Heritage repaired our concrete tile roof three years ago, replacing some cracked tiles. Recently, we saw water damage on the ceiling below where one tile was replaced. I cut through the ceiling and confirmed the leak was coming from the spot repaired by Heritage. I called and asked that they come out and fix my leaking roof... they referred me to another roofer.

I wasn't asking for a warranty repair; I was prepared to pay. Heritage just wouldn't stand behind their work. REALLY BAD!!

I really wish I could give Heritage the 5 star review I thought I'd be giving when we decided to have them replace our roof. Everything started out great, the owner came out and gave us our quote which was actually the lowest bid we'd gotten. We wanted to support a small Livermore business and based on the quote and the great Yelp reviews we decided to go with Heritage. We were scheduled to have our roof replaced during winter, which isn't ideal but it needed to be done. We were very impressed with the crew, they were there each day at 8:00 sharp and worked around the rain schedule as best they could. During the weekend, in the middle of our re-roof job, there was a storm and we had a small leak that created paint bubbling in 2 rooms. Not a huge deal but we let them know so they could make sure to correct the problem in the waterproofing on the roof and fix the wall. This is where our experience went downhill fast. It took a few days of repeatedly telling the crew and project manager Terry that the wall was damaged and needed to be fixed until he committed to coming to take a look a few days later. There had been a break in the rain that week, and so we were understanding that they had other roofing jobs that they needed to try to finish during that dry spell, so we were ok with Terry waiting until the next rainy day (which was a Friday) to come fix the wall. Friday came, he started to peel the damaged part of paint off the wall in our daughters nursery, and it came off in a huge sheet. After almost half the paint was peeled off the wall down to the sheetrock, he told my husband he didn't have the right tools with him to fix the wall and left, telling him he'd return Monday. We moved furniture back into the room for the weekend, only to have to take it out again for Monday, when he then called my husband saying he was busy and would come the following day. He brought a different guy to do the work who started to fix and paint the walls. When I came home from work later and looked at the wall I saw that he didn't re-texture the wall, just painted right on the sheetrock. Every imperfection in the sheetrock showed and it didn't match the other textured walls in the room. We called Terry to bring it to his attention, and he said they would look for the tools to texture the wall. Almost another week passed, we tried calling the office to speak with the owner and we'd always get a vague ""he's not here right now"". Finally they subbed the work out to a painting company. The work was completed yesterday (now 3 weeks after our roof was completed), and guess what...the wall looks exactly the same as it did before they came. It's not textured to match the other walls, and every imperfection of the sheetrock still shows through. I'm so frustrated with this whole experience that I don't even want to continue to fight to have it re-done properly. The roof looks great and we haven't had any other problems with it, but their lack of proper follow through to correct a problem is very concerning and frustrating. Nothing inside my house should look worse than when they started the roofing job. Having a roof replaced is a HUGE investment and all aspects of the job should be done correctly and in a timely manner.

Heritage roofing finished our neighbors roof yesterday and the mess they left in my yard was terrible! The worker used a leaf blower each day to clean the debris from the roof. A big portion ended up on my cars, lawn, side yard and driveway. We told the worker about this and he said he would clean it up...that never happened! This is not acceptable. I give it one star only yelp wouldn't allow less.

We recently had our roof re-done by Heritage Roofing. We had wood shake shingles and replaced them with composite shingles. Greg, the owner, is honest and a very nice guy. He gave us a good price and did everything he said he would do. The work crew that was here were fantastic. I've never seen two guys work harder in my entire life. They were on our roof from 9am to 6pm everyday. Both workers were meticulous and clearly experienced. My new roof looks great! My roof has been completed for a few weeks now. Many of my neighbors have told me how good my new roof looks and their desire to use this company. It rained recently, and we did not have any leaks(Something that was happening prior to our new roof install) I would highly recommend Heritage Roofing to any of my friends or neighbors.

Heritage roofing completed re-roofing my home last week. I selected Heritage as a result of meeting with Greg the owner who acknowledged my areas of concern in the old roof and was upfront about his approach to address them. I appreciated that his pricing was clear based on the options selected, and also reasonable.

During the work, Greg or Terry, the manager on the job, always returned phone calls and addressed any issues or concerns. Their roofing team was very hard working.

The new roof looks great, includes the elements I requested; and based on the materials and warranty selected, I expect it to perform well.

As I type this our replacement roof job with Heritage was just completed. There are several reasons why we picked Heritage over others: their price was surprisingly competitive, they were knowledgeable, extremely professional (every employee emulates this), certified for the type of shingles we chose, several of our neighbors recommended them and they were able to meet our timeline.

Greg, the owner, was thorough on our bid and didn't nickel and dime us. Also he gave valuable advice regarding other work we were having to our home by another company (attic insulation replaced & rodent clean-up) to ensure that that job would be done to our satisfaction as well. Greg had samples on his truck to show us for all roofing materials, ridge vents, gutter screens, etc, which was handy so we could make selections on the spot. Later he brought them back again for my husband to see too. We are having a whole house fan installed later and Greg worked with us to make sure our new roof would meet the ventilation requirement for it.

Between Greg and Terry (our job foreman) we were in excellent hands every step of the way. They gave us their cell numbers so we could reach them if needed. Their crews always arrived on time, were conscientious, professional, took time to clean up very thoroughly every day and were happy to address any questions or requests we had along the way. They said our job would take 1 week and it did. Heritage Roofing really goes above and beyond to ensure that you are happy with the finished results.

A couple of side notes, the company we had doing our attic clean-up surprised us by praising Heritage's roofing crew (both jobs happened simultaneously) too. They said they normally find trash and garbage in attics from roofers, but our attic was spotless. They said that our roofing company did an outstanding job (from an inside the attic point of view) and that we had picked an excellent roofing company.

On day one of our job, I alerted Terry to a dove nest at the top of a brick post on our porch and asked that their crew try to take it easy near it if possible. The mother bird was tending it so we figured she had babies. One afternoon Greg knocked on my door to tell me that he saw one of the baby doves fall out of the nest onto our porch. It was scared but unharmed and couldn't fly yet. Both Greg and Terry spent over 15 minutes carefully rescuing the baby dove and returning it to the nest. They wanted to make sure the mother bird wouldn't abandon it and she didn't. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty! These guys rock!

Like the baby dove, we were in great hands with Heritage Roofing. I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs. There is a reason they have such a fantastic reputation, they earned it.

This company continues to surprise me at how great customer service can be. They installed a tile roof years ago for me. When I called them abt a cracked tile they came out fixed it and would not accept any $. Thank You Heritage.
